Radiance flew after Mizu not wanting her to get hurt. Radiance, being her pet, was very protective of Mizu and didn't want her hurt in any way.

Radiance landed on Mizu's shoulder glaring at Zero cautiously. She was a very rare creature in these parts and was worth her weight in gold. She screeched at Zero angrily as her feather's puffed out at him.

Neah was camped out on the island as a brief stop for a couple of days before heading off to a new town or city when he saw the bone dragon. He was quickly heading towards it a ring on each index finger glowing faintly as well as a knife tucked up each of his slevees, he stopped just out of the people sight and watched cautiously for hostile actions....
