Danielle blushed a little bit darker when she mentioned it. Damn she was good at this. He waved goodbye to them as they left and gave a long sigh. He blew a few strands away from his face and turned to her, seeing she was still blushing. He had only tried to help get rid of it even if it failed. "So...shall we go check the mission board?" he asked her, trying to change the subject.

Kairi nodded quickly, "Y-yeah! Um mission board..." she agreed. She was unsure of how to act after that. Sure it was a joke, but the two of them were blushing wildly. She had never thought of Danielle as more than a friend or a weapon. She couldn't possibly like him... Right? No! Relationships between meisters and weapons could ruin everything. As she thought hard about this, she tripped over her feet, beginning to fall face first into pavement. She braced herself for impact.

Danielle leaned off the wall and did his best to get rod of his blush. The joke felt like it might have gone too far. He has heard of a few meisters and weapons getting together, but it wouldn't go well with them, right? He started to walk toward the mission board when he noticed her trip. He quickly wrapped his arms around her waist to catch her. "Hey, are you ok?" he asked her with a bit of a worried look.

Kairi looked up at him, turning an even darker shade of red. The joke got her thinking, could she have feelings for Dani? It made her head spin and looking up at him now didn't help. She got to her feet and averted he eyes, "I'm fine.. Um, Mission board!" she said hurriedly, walking faster away from him. Sure, she had loved Danielle as a friend and it wouldn't be more than that. She was sure Danielle had felt the same way. Nothing could happen between them.

Danielle was a bit surprised by her reaction. He did blush a bit more when she looked up at him and when she got onto her feet. He watched her walk away to the board and cleared his throat a bit to get rid of his blush. He followed her to the board, though he wished he wasn't blushing. Maybe he did somewhat like her more than just a friend. But he couldn't exactly imagine dating her. Maybe it was just how he caught her that made her blush.
