Somewhere deep inside the forest on Vampire Island is a massive stone monolith that stands in an open field. The area feels like it is full of life, and the monolith hums with power. Any living creature that enters the area feels stronger and healthier in this sacred place of power.

Kayla walks through some bushes feeling odd. She looks at the people shes with "This place... feels weird..."
Cedric slowly circles the forest trying to sense where the best place to land would be. He finally settles on a small clearing that looks to be able to hold his dragon form if need be.

Arden was quietly staring at the obelisk, almost entranced by it. He was in his human form, his gems circling his head and humming lowly. Every now and then they chimed, Arden's unblinking to the noise. " Isn't this place amazing? " He asked softly, but he wasn't speaking to anyone in particular. The young dragon looked back at his companions with glowing eyes.
Kayla stepped closer to Arden nodding her head pulling the book out getting it ready on the last page biting her lip hard. "R-Ready" She says weakly the entrance seeming to open as they spoke.

Cedric walked into the clearing with the obelisk and smirked a little playfully as he stepped forward the others standing around it.
Kayla looked at Cedric biting her lip "I have no idea...." She said softly her body trembling a bit, she was having doubts in her mind of what she could and couldn't do. Maybe she wasn't strong enough for this and was just holding everyone back.

The landscape began to grow dark as a chilling wind blew in, bringing with it a faint wailing and screams. An eerie fog was blowing in from the forest, and the vegetation began withering at an alarming pace. The fog rolled into the clearing, and the grass began greying as two figures emerged from the shroud. The lead figure looked like a young man, shaggy black hair over his face and a cigarette lit between his lips. His hands in his pockets, he looked up at the defenders with a sigh, and the wind picked up intensely. The screams and wailing were becoming deafening, almost coming from all directions before suddenly ceasing. The stranger tossed his cigarette aside, a creepy grey glow surrounding him.
" Today is a good day to die." He stated, his voice carrying in the wind.
Kayla backed away a bit wide eyes looking at the man that had just spoke. He seemed so much colder then the man she knew before, holding the book close to her chest she looked at the male dragons glaring at the Demon's. "Jericho..." Kayla said softly walking a bit closer opening the book to the last page trembling.

Cedric merely unsheathed his blades and paused a moment as his newest one hummed with power and promise of bloodshed.
"Now..I know you arent talking to me." He moved to shield the human girl from any attack they might unleash.
The young man spat on the ground, casually approaching the defenders as the ground before him began to corrode and die. "You can move along angel. I'm not interested in a fight....." He looked over to Kayla with a frown, then back to Cedric. " I'm here to break a big rock and be on my way. Take the girl with you. " His voice cracked a little at the end, but he cleared his throat and stood tall, an eerie grey glow surrounding him. "This will be your only warning."

Kayla looked up at Cedric then quickly down at the book trembling. She started reading the words written on the page gasping and jumping back when the ground around her started to die and fall away. She looked up at Jericho trying to hide her fear and kept reciting the words in the book.
Jericho visibly flinched as Kayla began reading, his face falling into a frown. The wind began howling louder, practically blowing the book in Kayla's hands right out. The screams and wails increased in intensity, making communication difficult beyond telepathy or screaming. The demon actually did want her to succeed, but he couldn't drop his guard just yet: work to do and all.

Kayla flinches when the screams get louder holding onto the book tighter as the wind blows. Looking over at Jericho she raised her voice even louder stepping in front of Cedric so she was closer to Jericho saying the words her body relaxing as she starts calming down getting used to the eeriness of it all.
Cedric leaped forward and swung his blades at the demon that was closest to the pillar, roaring with all his Draconian fury and angelic wrath as he channeled his holy fire through his blades making them glow and erupt in flames.
