Gaping Wounds - Amrita

Eventually, Night had taken her home. It hadn't taken as much convincing as she was expecting. Really all she had to do was ask, and he agreed. Not only did he agree, but he insisted on covering her wound for her, and used her waist scarf to do just that. He had secured it around the wound to hide it, and the dark colour hid any traces of extra, congealed blood that may have seeped from it.

And then he insisted on wrapping her up in one of his neon green and black hoodies, one whose sleeves extended well past her own hands, which helped hide more of her injuries. Then, for a reason he explained in a quick mutter so that she wouldn't catch it, he'd even put a hat on her. She thought she looked ridiculous, but it was more because the clothing was too big for her, and she felt like a small child playing dress up.

But he had taken her home anyway and put her to bed, new clothes and all; she wasn't about to let him help her change. She'd sleep in her (and his) clothes. Again.

She didn't know when he left, but he did.

A few hours later she woke to a pounding headache, the sort that was becoming a sad fact in her continued existence. She rose only to brew the tea to help her sleep, and crawled back into bed to ride it out until the solace of sleep overtook her.

Gaping Wounds - The Moon

Moon woke with a very persistent feeling that something was wrong. It was obvious to her that something had changed, but so soon after waking, she wasn't sure what it was. She was in her room, in her bed surrounded by her things, and after that it was easy to systematically go through what she could, to figure out where the fault lay.

One was easy: her hand was broken. Not only broken. It was shattered. She raised the hand and flexed to check her range of motion. The fingers moved, thankfully, but always to the grind and crack of loose and snapped bones. A deep frown set on her lips and she peeled away the too-large sleeve to see how far down the damage went. It wasn't bad by all accounts, and thankfully it didn't hurt too much, but it was still rather annoying; who went to bed without getting such an injury fixed?

Her host was certainly a perplexing individual.

It was around that time that she realized the hoodie she wore wasn't one that belonged to her, either. It was green. Amrita did not own a single piece of green clothing, which was another curious thing. She began to work herself out of the foreign clothing, and eventually peeled off the hat that certainly didn't belong, her motions slower than she would have liked due to her injuries.

The more she uncovered, the less she understood. The hand was shattered, there were puncture wounds from a small weapon on her torso, most of which had already closed or were in the process of closing, and then, lastly, came the throat wound. It was torn open like a bloody smile, gaping wide enough to show the sinew below, her trachea exposed for all to see.

"What have you been doing?" She asked her own reflection, her brow twitched in irritation.

It took her too long to reset the bones and close the wounds, but she did. The throat was the hardest to close, but only because it was difficult to see properly. But she managed, somehow. By the time she was finished, she was feeling more than a little irritated. A few hours of her precious time had been wasted, all because the ghoul wasn't careful, or never thought to get herself healed. Further time was wasted in cleaning up her mess, discarding of anything that suggested the fix had been done in this room.

Then, she got changed, and headed out to make good use of what little time she had left.
