It is a chilly morning when I arrive to unlock my cabin.
The fog is still heavy in the air and I am ladden down with tons of supplies.
I unlock the door (which remained unlocked now that I am expecting friends.
I enter the cabin which, unfortunately has become covered in a thick layer of dust during my absence.
I remove the dusty sheet from the furniture and throw them in the washer.
Next I clean the cabin. Well, I have to make another trip into town for more supplies.

A couple of hours later I return.
This time I have my truck filled with fishing equipment, lawn chairs, blankets, lanterns, a couple of stereos, and some necessary bathroom supplies.
I put on a pot of coffe to brew and because the air is still so chilly; I start a fire.
Then I go out to bring in more firewood.
When I return I sit in my favorite recliner with a book and my coffee. Ahhhh, this is peaceful.
I wonder when my friends will show up.

~Joe hears the sound of tires crunching sticks along the dirt road. ~
I get up from my oh -so- comfy recliner and look out the window to see who is comming.
Darn it these windows are filthy!
I can't see a thing.
I guess I'll go sit outside to greet my first guest.

I sure am glad that I brought these old adirondack rockers.
At first I thought they were Grandpa-chairs, but they are pretty cool.
I could just sit here for hours dreaming the day away.
Joe watches the birds and frogs and slowly drifts off into a peaceful slumber. smile

Joe wakes up, rubs his eyes, and yawns.
Gee I must have been tired.
He looks at his watch
I wonder who that was I heard earlier. Hope it wasn't a bear.
Joe goes inside to look at the battery operated clock on the wall.
Wow! it's almost lunchtime.
No wonder my stomache was growling.
That's probably what woke me.
Joe goes to kitchen and starts preparing food

Joe pops a Def Leopard CD in his portable CD player and cranks in up.
I feel like Emerril he in this big ole kitchen. blaugh
I wonder what everybody likes to eat.
I think the barbecued teriaki kabobs will make a nice first meal.
I will cut the chicken and steak into cubes and marinate it with the shrimp while I cut up pinneapple, zuccini, mushrooms, onions, and potaoes.
Then I will put everything on the sqwers (sticks) and when everyone is here I can throw them on the grill. blaugh
I wonder if I brought enough ice for the soda. confused
C'mon everyone. I'm getting hungry. domokun

I'll be right back. I have to go get that ice.
Joes goes out to shed which is filled with lots of dusty old junk. He fumbles around looking for the ice chest and bucket.
Holy Crap! What was that?
Joe narrowly escapes a ferral cat chasing a mouse or something furry.
Memo to Joe. Don't let the chickies out here. and uh, buy mouse traps the next time I go into town.
