I went to a horsejumping show today in my riding school and the horse I was riding jumped H-U-G-E so I fell over is shoulder and flipped around and landed flat on my back on the ground (without a back protector which you're ment to wear(mines too small)) they put me on another horse so I could jump it again because the horse I was riding was jumping massively that day (as usual) The horse refused two jumps but it was fun!

Welllll...
Since we're in So Cal, the celebration isn't as big as some. Our parade was last Saturday (through rain and light hail sweatdrop ).
However, since my school is cool, we have a cultural club called Cara Go Celtica. And... since St. Patrick's Day is our big holiday, we do fun stuff at lunch. Today we sang the Irish national anthem (in English, since we only got the words about... two minutes before going out to sing!), then gave the history of St. Patrick and the chasing out of the 'snakes' (or rather, good ol' pagans like most of us club members), then did a bunch of solos and some kitchen sets, then a story (I forget which one), then the finale/hardshoe portion of our big performance number, then St. Patrick's Day (the set, not the ceili), and finally... audience participation Irish dancing! (Seige of Ennis).

Well... 'twas fun. Especially since our club shirts have a really awesome design on them, done by our usual artist.
Tomorrow some of us get to perform at a church... and get food! rofl
