"Ilkay. Illllkaaaay." The hushed, drawn-out whisper was soon followed by a light swat as Nesf tried to wake her twin and only her twin, and not one of their other four sisters. "Wake up! I've got an idea."
An idea so pressing and important that it absolutely couldn't wait another moment, let alone the whole hour until dawn - and then hours after that, until the midday break in the seemingly endless lessons that the cubs' lives were composed of. Ruling and strategy, war and combat, history and bloodlines, all a desperate attempt to adequately prepare them for the life they'd been born into. For all the challenges they would face, including each other.
But for now, at least, Nesf and Ilkay were sisters. Twins. Born lookalikes and partners.

Nesf brushed off the glare from her sister with a smile, satisfied that Ilkay was awake and up. She moved after her as she stepped away from the pile, shooting a quick glance back to make sure they were all still asleep - as was their mother, dozing within a few feet of them. The borclu Sabit was likely nearby as well, awake and on guard, but even if she noticed them, the big lioness wasn't likely to object so long as they didn't really attempt to wander.
"I was thinkin,'" the blue-eyed twin began, "That this stuff about finding a boy to be Bey is stupid. Why's it have to be a boy? Why can't you or me do it? Then we could just rule together! One of us could be the Bey, and the other one could be the Hatun, y'know?"
