have you tried to actually sit own and talk to your mom about it and actually explain it to her? once you do that you both could learn something new.

I have had to try a mature conversation with her about it...
... She just doesn't seem to understand it, but I'm working really hard at trying to make her understand it... and me. And why I chose this path instead of any other. It's hard when you don't have open minded parents.

I think you should give her an article from a reliable source. I once read an article by Christians about Wicca. It didn't bash Wicca but simply explained what it was and that they were afraid that it would pull teenagers away from Christianity, rather than being afraid of what they think is magic and devil worship. I'll look for it, and you can print it out for you mom to read. smile
