Well...has anyone had the pleasure of playing on this classic system? I use to have one with like over 30 games. It was fun while it lasted.

Not only did I own an Atari 2600, but also the 7800. Man, do you know the troubles of knowing which game carts work with which Atari system??? I owned several good games...
Spider Fighter River Raid (Anyone who owned an Atari owned this game) Journey Escape (This was a kick @$$ game) Tank Wars Atlantis Haunted House Castle Adventure Custards Revenge (Anyone know this game??? xd )
This is only a small example of the original carts.

I remember the dayz of Pitfall... The jungle was infinate, you cant get to the end! - Atari instilled futile hopes in the youth at such an early age!

No, I never played one. I didn't really get into gaming a lot until a few years ago. Although I knew a friend a long time ago who had a Sega Genesis we would sometimes play.

Thank you. 3nodding Someone remembered Pitfall. How cool was it that it was included with Pitfall: The Mayan Adventure as a minigame of sorts?

PITFALL, OH GEEZ, HOW ACTIVISION LOVED TO PREY ON OUR DESIRE TO FIND THE END.
Now Pitfall 2 DID have an ending, but it was hard as $^&% to get there because the girl you have to save was at the start of the game......ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE WALL, so you had to traverse the entire game, just to find the other side of that wall. Here's the kicker, you had to find ALL THE GOLD BARS to kill the rat at the end of the maze to get to your girlfriend (Or who ever she was)
