So, this guild is primarily nascar, but, it seems content has gone down and I don't know an incredible lot about nascar anymore, though, I used to follow it a few years ago.

I've got Subarus, so, I thought I'd see if anyone else has one or any other car, would like to share how/ when/ how much for they got it, what they've done to it in terms of modification and restoration, and what they use it for. I've got a couple Chevys too and I might post them up later.

I've got a line up of cars, so, I'll share some photos unless this still requires photobucket, then I'll have to wait because I'm too lazy to make a photobucket because it's been years since I frequented this site and my photobucket is long forgotten.

I own a 96 dodge intrepid. Sadly the years have not been kind to it and it is acting up. I am looking to sell it.

1987 Subaru DL 3DR Liftback

It's actually kind of a rare car and unless you were alive in the 1980's, you've probably never seen one. Subaru at this time had 3 designations for their line-up. DL, GL, and GL-10. GL stood for "Grand Luxury". They never said what DL meant, I can only assume "Destitute Lifestyle"

The GL-10 was the top of the line model, featuring alloys, 4WD, A/C, adjustable air suspension, a digital dash, a turbo, power everything, a locking center diff, a spoiler, and a front valance.

The GL offered 4WD, A/C a full gauge cluster, and power windows, locks, and mirrors.

The DL (Mine) came with a Speedometer, a gas gauge, and a temp gauge. No Tach, no oil pressure gauge, no volt meter. It came with 1 mirror, the driver's side door mirror, and crank windows. It did not come with a rear wiper, and it did not come with window washing sprayers, however, it had the pumps, the wiring, and the tubing, and the nozzles, just not the switch. Same with the wiper, it was all there, but, no wiper arm. DL's were FWD.

I bought my 1987 DL for $300. It came equipped with bald tires, an engine with compression in 3 cylinders, dog hair, feces, urine, a cracked windscreen, a collection of mix tapes featuring beatles type music, gangster rap, an unopened bag of cheezits, massive dents from a previous accident or 5, and a slightly used condom. It however was MISSING one of the rear quarter panels. I don't mean that it was unbolted, because you can't, it had literally rusted away along with most of the rear shock towers. The car did however include in the back a full set of wheels and tires that fit a Nissan Sentra. That helped.

So far, the car has received rust treatment and fiberglass for the missing panel, a new windscreen, a new interior (seats and etcetera because that was just nasty. No seat cover can protect you from what was in that car. It had 14 little trees hanging from the mirror, and more on the floor) 4 new sets of wheels and tires (I did a few burnouts), a newly rebuilt engine that I did, and a 4WD Transmission, it's got a new rearend, and that's it. It's 4wd now, and isn't gross, and I've painted the car already, though, I'm gonna redo it again later.

Right now it's a daily driver that I race a little now and then.

1981 GL Wagon "Rasta Cruiser"
I actually just bought this car for $250 about 3 days ago.
It's painted rasta, features half of a driver's seat, and a piece of wood to hold the rear gate up when you need to use it. The motor only has 148,000 on it, so, it's solid for an old Subie, and hardly leaks oil, and it shifts pretty well. Half of the exhaust has been sawed off and it sounds just HORRID, but, I like that about it. It sounds and drives like it were made in Russia and was used for plowing. It's actually a pretty fun car.

1989 Chevrolet G30 Short Bus.
This bus came in 9 colors, and is now painted white.
350 with the Cutaway Cams, Turbo 400 Trans, on the dually frame.
The bus has not seats other than the driver, and the bus has 62,000 Miles.
It came from a small town in Oregon, so, no rust, nothing really wrong with it.
Though, I need to mend the power steering pump, it just needs a seal kit.
