Personally I think it's stupid.
It's a coffee shop, not a bar.
When I sip my latte I don't want to be surrounded by drunk hipsters. lol

I think this is hilarious to be honest. And I think the typical hipster is too young to order alcohol anyway so I imagine people with crappy jobs will be looking to get a decent fix before work razz
