So there are rumours floating around that in March we will see the return of the Imperial Knight as an ally to ALL Imperial factions*. What is the Imperial Knight? This: It is the step in between walkers and titans, not quite a titan, but also quite something beyond a walker! Simply put, it is a bipedal warmachine piloted by a single pilot and armed with a ranged weapon (In most cases an advanced battle cannon), a massive close combat weapon and sometimes equipped with secondary weapon systems on the head. A compilation of old fluff can be found here! The big debate going on right now is should the Knight be a monstrous creature (Like the Riptide and Wraithknight) or a vehicle (Defiler, Maulerfiend and so on)? Personally I would rather see it as a monstrous creature, given that these are quite durable and can in most cases not be killed in one lucky shot, even more so than vehicles under the current rules! * Imperial Factions include: - Adepta Sororitas - Blood Angels - Dark Angels - Grey Knights - Imperial Guard - Space Marines (and their supplemental books) - Space Wolves - The Inquisition - Any and all Forge World supplemental army lists dealing with the Imperium of Man

I really need to get some banners going on my own Leviathan.
Hoping for a monstrous creature stat-line as well, it would give the Imperials a nice boost and give them something most of the armies don't have access to. emotion_awesome

Lady Blodwynn ArletaMagic ooh. I've got some banners I can put on one of these for the Sororitas razz Bound to be one or two Knight Households who fought for a shrine world or Adepta Mission. 3nodding My own "Knight" sports a Fleur de Lys on the heraldic shield, to denote that not only has it served alongside the Adepta at some point, several members of the household have served with one of the Orders. If the rumours prove true, I may have to track down both a cannon and ripper saw arm, then properly take the time to give the both of those pendants and victory banners, maybe even go the extra mile and see about giving the Eternal Warrior a nice rear mounted banner as well.

New bit of info, grain of salt: Quote: There was a Knight Paladin that is taller than riptide, but not as tall as the Wraithknight. It seemed top have a vanquisher cannon and an Uber-chainsword, which are a standard load outs I am told. You may upgrade it to a punisher Cannon and/or also swap the chainsword out for an Uber-Fist with Inferno Flamers. If true, great news, means I don't have to pay a king's ransom in order to get replacement arms.

Miniature Market was having a sale, Leviathan arms, normally $34,99, now $17,50. I may or may not have spent money that I didn't have to begin with. gonk All I need now is banners.

It wont be a straight build though, going to see if I can add chained banners to both arms. ninja

It would level the playing field somewhat, though most, if not all Imperial armies have the means to counter monstrous creatures.
