Easily the most difficult part of the Expert Race, this segment requires you to run from one end of the Samegawa Floodplain to the other, winding through the streets of Downtown Inaba on a return journey that will send you right back out of town past the Yasoinaba Station and towards the shores of Shirichi Beach far up the coast.

Look, I know like it sounds like going through the whole town and back should take a while, but trust me, it doesn't. This town is SMALL. One end of the floodplain to the other takes like, five minutes on foot. Add in through downtown? Fifteen minutes, maybe? And just think if you added in the Square button! And you're going to be doing it on a bike, so this shouldn't take long.

On the other hand, this is the most treacherous part of the entire journey. Okina City was packed with people, but Inaba's just packed with...people, cars, signs, cows...it's a country town. And that's not getting into all the random demons and supernatural things that could get in your way. Crashing in this segment is very likely. BUT! If you do crash...at least you can say you made it further than Junpei did. This is literally the point where he totaled his bike and couldn't go any further the last time he tried the Expert Course.

Saiga kept along the path starting to figuratively run out of steam for the race. She'd been having trouble driving in her town, and as things were winding down, he was sitting on a comfortable lead. She Idly wondered if a demon was going to pop out and ruin their day, as she tried to maintain her balance.
I'm certain better bikers than I have crash-landed into the river..or worse. she thought to herself, moving right along.

Saiga moved at a decent pace, though as she glanced over, she could see that familiar head of silver.
'Looks like she's not out just yet.." she mused to herself, as she gunned the engine, trying to speed up, and pull ahead. She didn't want to lose, but she did enjoy the fact that Kanade was putting up a fight. It wasn't the end just yet..
Kanade kept her ride steady, and her engine running as she fought to try to close the last bits of a gap. It was getting close now, even if ti was right near the end. If she was just a little faster....Or a little lucky....

Faust chuckled a bit as Nix seemed reinvigorated, and pulled on ahead of him again.
"She's gotten a lot stronger since we first met." he mused lightly to himself, as they were coming up to the end of the race. It wasn't very far now, and they had all moved with a respectable speed. And Yosuke?
...Well, he certainly had a considerable will, if he was still trying to make it to the end of the trail, despite everything that was going wrong for him. The Biker-gang guy was doing as well as expected, and it was honestly just a hell of a show. He had a lot of fun racing along the country side, even if he wasn't anywhere near first place. The floodplains were difficult, but he'd manage to pull through, driving right along, even if his chances at the race were lost. It was a challenge..It was fun.
And honestly, for the look of determination on Nix's face, and her enthusiasm with the whole thing, Faust couldn't help but be pleased.

Gin felt the hum of the engine, the rev of the motor, the spin of the tires, the whole machine still working in tandem after everything they'd been through. This was a bike; this was the reason he'd come to love the air of the open road, and this was the machine he was going to be taking care of for a long time to come. Could he manage to make the others eat his dust...to show the champs, that there was a new master of the motor in town? He could only hope that he had that much moxxy left in his bike at this point.

He was almost there, but this was a tricky part of the race...weaving through the small town meant that he had to be aware of any random animals, people, or cars that might come their way. The town wasn't big, but it was filled with lively folks who still did their best to lead a normal life in spite of the craziness in the town. Today was no exception...and the race brought some genuine excitement for something good back to the small area. He envied their optimism...he had lost much of his long ago. But this race was something that he could enjoy, that he could try to win with all of his heart...

"I'll see you at the finish," he called out as his engine roared to life, ready for the final stretch, "Good luck!"

And so, she slowed down once more, to look over the floodplains. It was...quite a sight at this time of night, and the race was an afterthought as she passed it by.
"Definitely bringing Shu next time." she called, as she glanced over the water, idly driving along. The race was as good as over now, and she was just taking in the sights here.

"Watch out!" The girl pushed the brakes, a random passerby moving slowly, almost as if not aware of the bikers speeding off. It almost threw her out of balance, but somehow she kept herself upright. It did slowed her down quite a bit, though... Ah...well...

As his control of his bike began to fall off, Kiki-Jiki was furious. He wanted to catch back up and claim first. But, at this point, first was being ahead of everyone he could, and that guy who was ahead was not a contest anymore.
