A detour from the main roads into Inaba, but let's face it...if we went straight into that town, we'd be on the other side in one segment. There's no way we could keep this race going for five of them! We have to time ourselves, pace ourselves, and this hillside is an interesting stretch of road with rises, dips, turns, and plenty of beautiful rice paddies for everyone to see as they drive by, and...yeah...it's boring.

I'm talking listening to 'Burn My Dread' on MAX Volume to drown out the silence boring. ...I'm talking 'Mitsuru dragged me into another of her company's big corporate meetings and I have NO clue what the Heck anybody is talking about because I'm just there for moral support but I'm not allowed to sleep or listen to music or eat Wild Duck Burger while I'm in there boring'! And I...

I...uh...Mitsuru has to read all of these, doesn't she?

He was getting further and further away. No matter how much she'd been familiar with the roads, she couldn't be assured she wouldn't hit someone if she rounded a corner the wrong way, and as such, she couldn't let go of her inhibitions and just gun it, even as they climbed to the hilltops.
"This is getting really bad.." she murmured to herself, trying to shake that uneasy feeling of concern. It was just a race, sure..But if someone got hurt..
She could see him, so he wasn't too far, out of this world gone, but she'd still need to do a lot of catching up...

Saiga continued to drive along Inaba, able to shake her fear of hitting someone, or something else. She'd turned into the Hilltops, honestly confused as to where Kanade had gone. She wasn't that far back, right?
"Agh..focus Saiga.." the girl called to herself as she continued on, intent on beating the silver-haired girl...Though, she had to admit. Riling her up was pretty fun, and it was nice to be racing a friend, instead of a complete stranger....or a creepy man in a mask.
Kanade drove along, revelling the sights of Inaba as she passed by the hilltops, remembering how she'd met with Rednal for the first time there. Or was that some other time? She didn't quite remember, but the thought of the area in general just...gave her a nice, warm feeling inside. She really did have some fond Memories, here in Inaba...

Faust continued along the path, watching a Nix started to accelerate once more, and jump ahead of him.
"Good on you." he mused, nodding quietly as they started to circle around, coming up to the hilltop. He hadn't seen Yosuke in a while it seemed, so he was likely far behind...
However, he just kept driving along, doing his best to keep up with the two Titans of bike-Racing. He chuckled as they took a turn, quite enjoying the way the whole thing was turning out.

"Come on, just a little bit further! Focus...keep it calm and keep your eyes on the road." Gin glanced back at the people were still hugging close to him. Nix seemed to be in another league all together from your average biker, and Gin inwardly smirked as he noticed she was still hot on his heels, although he chided himself when he nearly dropped an 'Atta girl'. This was a competition, and if he showed it until the end that he was rooting for them too, it'd only be a slight to his competition; and he was going to win, so there was no way that he was going to make them feel the sting of the loss before that.

The hills outside of Inaba were winding, up and over...down and around...he passed through them as best he could, leaning into every turn, gassing it out of every single curve...but one could only push a bike so hard, play it so loose, before it got unsafe, and crashing was the one way Tatsuya had no intention of dying. Biking was meant to be fun, a respite, a release from all of his worries...not a worry of its own.

"Come on!" he called out to his competitors, feeling himself finally starting to enjoy the race for what it was...which made him think to himself that he really should apologize for some of his techniques back there...the Kick, while legal, wasn't exactly ethical when the others weren't on the same grounds. He'd have to teach them as a reward...IF they could win, that was.

She took her hand off of the handlebar as she drove, confident that being as far back as she was, she wouldn't hit anyone. She flexed it for a bit, as she drove, glancing.
"Damn parts.." she muttered, leaning back onto her bike as they started to go up the Hills. Her body was malfunctioning again...It was painfully obvious. Though, even with it working fine, she knew this race was beyond victory. She'd be lucky to even come in a place that wasn't last, the way things were.
