It was tough to weave through the streets of a city as packed in as Okina, and his lack of experience was starting to show. He had a good bike, some good skills, but he wasn't used to driving in such close-quarters...Nix and Gin were gaining on him fast, closing the distance between them into near-nothing with every stage that passed the two of them. He could see them inching closer in his rear view, that look of determination and freedom on their faces nearly visible now...and his lips curled pleasantly at the challenge before him. He wanted to enjoy this race right down to the very last stage, to go neck-and-neck to the finish line!

He didn't get competitive about very much, but he couldn't say he wasn't enjoying it this time. And if he got to roll over the line next to Nix and compliment each other on a game well-played, that was all the better.

"Last stage coming up, everyone..." he called out easily, "See you at the finish line..."

"Lets do this Nix! We'll show Tsuyoshi the heart of real bikers!" Gin smirked as he cheered on the girl, although he was pushing his own bike right now, weaving in and out through anything that could prove to be an obstacle as they neared the end of Okina and entered the Station. This was due or die time, he would have to be perfect and this leg of the race and the one after it in order to claim victory over Tsuyoshi, and while the chances were small, he had more than enough friendly competition to keep his adrenaline high as he neared the final portion and pushed his bike harder than ever. She could take it...he could take it...and in a strange way, perhaps born of camaraderie, he hoped that Nix and her bike could make it too, because there was more than a little resting on this race.

He wasn't pulling away like he had hoped, so he really had to put the pedal down now if he wanted to get some distance and take the lead as thoroughly as he had envisioned when the race started. The hills in Inaba could be unpredictable; he needed to gain traction in the terrain that he was familiar with, here in the city. Speeding through the tall buildings, he saw that he was coming to the end of the city very soon; now was the time to make a move if he was going to do it, and he had a few ideas as to how to gain that distance...if he could.

"Being a man, means..." he reminded himself of his own laws, his own code, and knew that he had to win to uphold what he intended. He wanted to make his own name, to do well on this course. He needed to find something to make him forget...and this was going to be it, one way or another.

She kept on driving, even as she heard everyone else's engines roaring off. She just gripped her handlebars and kept driving along. She just had to let al of her emotions and feeling about this race go, and just focus on not hitting anyone or thing on the bike.
She drove right along, grumbling as she did. It was just so...
Infuriating.

With the turns becoming ever so slowly harder to control, he focused on making sure to handle it well enough to make it as first.

Oh! Where did that guy came from? The girl had been so focused on the ones in front of her, that she didn't even notice him gaining speed on her. And now, seeing him right beside her, Nia couldn't help but to give him a sheepish smile, before returning her focus to the road. She needed to keep going!

Close...The race was far closer than he would have liked for comfort. The silver haired girl was relentless in her attempts to take the lead from him...And though he dare not turn around, he could just tell...
She was out for blood! ...Or at least, in this race to win it! He had to keep his grip firm, and his eyes forward at this.
I've come so far... he thought as he leaned into his bike, trying to make it the last two paths without flopping. They were at the City station...
Next was the outskirts..and at that, the end of the race.
Just a little...
Tats watched as the two combat one another for first place, the silver haired girl, and the brown haired boy neck and neck for the lead position. He chuckled lightly to himself, thinking of how he'd have to program this into Blanc when he got out of this race.
She'll love hearing about this. he thought, giving a personification to his Bot as usual, as he continued to rev his engine. They were in the final stretch now......The last two legs of the race. And with it being so close, it was still very much anyone's game...
