Green eyes turned to look at the scenery, the bridge and the bikers speeding past her. The city was just ahead, and she couldn't see any other of the people she was supposed to be racing anymore. Ah...well. The girl shrugged, returning her attention back to the road when she felt her hands losing just a bit of control over the bike, giving her a fright. "Okay, okay... focus now. You can watch the city on another time. ... Maybe when you are not driving, Nia..."

"That was a cheap trick." He snapped, driving alongside her. "Taking off like that, before we even get a chance to finish agreeing to terms."
Saiga bit her lip, but chuckled at this.
"You're certainly getting a lot better on that." she called, with a grin. "How about this, if you beat me, I'll tell you something special."
Jo(shu) raised his eyebrows at this,
"And if I Lose?" he quipped back, as the two were passing along Port Island station.
"Then I'll get something of my own." she called, as a Truck drove between them. "Good enough for you?
"Uh..."
"Good!"

Eiji "Gin" Mishima

Gin felt himself sinking in to the bike, melding to the metal as he pulled ahead of the rest and crossed onto Port Island. He leaned on the bike, making sure every movement of his hands was measured as he pulled around the turn and prepared to head back to the Moonlight Bridge. It was a sharp turn, and a lot of people could lose it here, so he intended to stay focused until he was through the part; it was the difference between making sure his lead was secure, and winding up on the back end of the group, even with the early advantage he had. He'd done it before, and he didn't intend to let it happen again. "Talk to me Goose." Gin joked as he remembered the most pressing of the members of the pack behind him, although he was falling further back than some of the other racers. Gin wasn't exactly worried that Haruto had ejected from his bike, hit the canope and was drowning in the ocean...but he had to admit, it was a possibility. Sort of. Not really.

...In retrospect, Haruto would probably regret that he had taken on the persona of 'Goose' for this particular race; remembering his ultimate fate in Top Gun made him rethink whether or not it was a good idea to wind through the streets of Port Island at such high speeds as he had been riding thus far. Nevertheless, the die were cast now, and he was already far behind i the race from those who were really giving in to their need for speed. Nix was a monster, and Gin was clearly riding with some Maverick-like bravado. The city melted away behind him as he made a bee-line for the Moonlight Bridge again, hoping that the second pass when he got to it would be much more smooth than the first. Even then, he was having fun...he couldn't deny the thrill that the high-speed chase gave him, and nothing was on his mind except weaving through the streets as quickly as he could. Catching Gin...? Maybe it was out of the question. Catching the others? Maybe? Probably not, but well, he had plenty of money from Yomi left in his coffers. He could handle paying out a paltry 50 Gs...

Her engine had continued to roar throughout the second stage, and the Demi-Fiend calmly passed into the third part, still focused on the road ahead of her. A faint smile was on her face, though - win or lose, she just loved to ride.

As Zorc was powering through the traffic with excellent speed, he zoomed through around, keeping a healthy lead. He was not going to be last. "ORA ORA ORA ORA ORAAAAA!"

Tezuka Rembrii, Forgetful Junior, And Tatsumaki Kikai, Tech-savvy Senior
Tezuka managed to kick his bike into gear at this, picking up a good amount of speed, and getting his groove back into the race.
Alright..I can do this. he thought, driving along as they started into Port island, trying to keep an eye on the road. Yes, this relaxing, racing feeling...It helped him forget about that creepy....stalker-y girl....
Tatsu gave a slight sigh of relief at this, before he pulled the handlebars back, revving his engine, and driving along faster, moving up to the silver haired girl.
"You've done this before, haven't you?" He called, with a gesture. It wasn't a tone of admiration, fear, or superiority. He was just asking her a question, after all. And as they continued driving, he'd continue to test the limits of his bike, and racing as if She was a person, riding with him.
I gotta keep moving..
