Two shinies in less than 5 mins?!

I was consecutive fishing for a shiny magikarp. I found one afyer about 45 chains. Then as i was trying to evolve it i ran into a shiny gyarados! I was speechless!

Same thing happened to me with Pachirisu. I was hunting for a Pikachu with Lightningrod (Which was successful btw) when the male and female squirrels appeared. I caught them in the perfect pokeball. For my two pink Pachirisu I used Heal Balls. Although I already traded one of them away for a shiny Pancham.

Back in Pokemon Black I was just catching some pokemon to trade away when I encountered a shiny Patrat. Right after that, another Patrat appeared with an alternate coloration.

No chains mind you.

The rates in Friend Safaris are nuts! I found a Shiny Electrode while hunting for a Shiny Helioptile or Manectric at around 12am. Later that day, I found two more Shiny Electrodes within 10 minutes of each other! Considering what I was hunting, I was quite distraught. I literally sat there screaming "Why?!?! Why, O Goomy, why?"

I second that notion. I just found an Ariados!

I havent found a shiny in a safari yet and im in there all the time.
