Sienna and Skylar had continued to be confused at the back of the group. Suddenly the Shinx was talking, and made the both of them even more confused, something about a cure, and Celebi, and woah did that Shinx have wings? Really cool.
But now the group was asking for people to help subdue the hostile mutant pokemon all around them - hostile mutant pokemon?! when did those get there? - so they could cure them of something.
"Uh," Sienna said and looked around, through the group. There, a rattata with a funky bare tail! "Skylar, use sing on that weird rattata!" Skylar flew as close as he dared and sung a lovely lullaby to lure the rat to sleep.
Pokemon 2 is down!

With Oki down, Anise had no easy way to subdue the pokemon. But she could administer the medicine. She rummaged around in he bag and pulled out a long-nozzled metal syringe she'd sometimes use to squirt medicine down the throats of uncooperative pokemon. She managed to get hold of the bottle with the cure and load the syringe with it before passing it on. Then she watched for pokemon that had been subdued but not yet treated, and carefully administered the medicine. She fed it to them slowly, not so much at once that they'd choke, and rubbed their throat a bit to encourage them to swallow.

"Yay! Finally the nightmare is over!" Vana cheered before looking around and noticing they were surrounded by angry pokemon. she tried to figure out what to do, keahi couldn't do much as he did not have any sub doing movies. She rummaged through her bag and found a plastic food container, dumping out the berries that were in it she held it out to keahi who peaked a hole in the side. She was not quite sure what to do now that she had container for the pokemon. Keahi however shot a fire ball at the sandish colored rattata that was close by. prompting vana to run over and slap the plastic container over it and step on it with her foot. "I uhh got one.....I think?" She had no idea if it would work or not, but she tried at lest.

The nausea from the sudden movement from future back to their time didn't last long. Zak was quick to think as the rest of the pokemon was downed by the rest of their team. "Phrixus use Thunder Fang on that last Pidgey and paralyze it." He called out to the houndoom.
The houndoom acted fast, and sunk is now electrified teeth with in the pidgey's body. Downing it for the moment.
With the medicine distributed as evenly as possible without the aid of any measuring tools and amidst the fury of battle, the company waited to see the outcome.
An hour later, the pokemon seemed to relax. Their bodies became less tense, and they no longer tried to lash out at everything that moved. You tested the effect on the pokemon you had under your care by reaching your hand out to it. Slowly, very slowly and cautiously. It didn't snarl and you didn't lose a finger. That was a good sign. In fact, the pokemon were very affectionate now, as if they knew the group had helped them. The drug obviously had no effect on the physical features, but somehow calmed the creatures.
You were joined by the shinx and eletrike that you met from the future. They looked less tired, and maybe even happy, compared to when you had seen them last. They no longer spoke to you, but verbal communication wasn't necessary for you to understand that they were truly grateful for your help.
A flicker of light behind the two pokemon brought your attention to it. It was a translucent figure. A person. A small-framed man with a hat and clothes with many pockets. He tipped his hat toward you before walking away and disappearing.
When the group tried to leave, the pokemon followed. Nothing you did to shoo them away worked until you had given up trying altogether. You guess you now had a new friend.
Finally, back at the airship, you find the Captain. He was worried that he lost you all, but notified that help was on the way. You were going home.
(( You will get points for the shinx if you posted when it had shown itself. This is the end of the RP event. You may post a concluding post if you wish. Points will be tallied and pokemon will be distributed over the next couple of days.
Important info about pokemon from this event: These are all single stage pokemon. They will not grow. If you need an IC reason: the region lies over a rich everstone vein, so pokemon that have been exposed to the water all their lives are unable to evolve. Those who only had traces of the water, like your own pokemon, are uneffected. If the pokemon are bred, their edits will not pass onto future generations.
Thank you all for participating in this super long and drawn out event, especially those of you who kept up this far into the RP and those that tried to keep up. I didn't mean for it to last this long, but there were unseen delays due to my busy schedule, lack of responses, and the general slow pacing of updates. As always, it was really fun reading how your characters respond to different situations, each other, and thanks for letting me throw crazy things at them and scaring them for life. xD

OOC Explanation of certain events:
The mysterious stranger was the one writing the journal entries, of course. He appeared in the beginning, and led the group to the ship. He then disappeared because he was a ghost. He told the Captain about the trip in a dream and distributed the letters. The ship was the one the stranger had and crashed in the desert, during steampunk times. When this was, I have no idea. When the ship crashed, the stranger took parts of his ship to make clothes and accessories. Some were given to his companions, the shinx and electrike. Some were stolen by pokemon when the stranger died.
