"I'm sure she appreciates it. It's good to meet ya, Corbin and Aaron!" Genesis said, playfully saluting them both before turning to head towards the docks.
"Honestly, I should be the one asking. I was the one to have run into you, after all," she said, laughing and slapping his shoulder. "Truthfully, though, Little A's the only Pokémon I have with me, and I don't want to go alone."

"Haha... yeah I bet she does." Corbin said with a fake laugh, "I swear she hates me and I don't know why." He nodded at her and began walking. "Nice to meet you both as well."
"Well it would be rather ungentlemanly of me to not escort a young lady such as yourself on such a trip when you are alone." He said with a slight grin, "I shall do my best to make sure you run into no one else." Aaron trailed after Corbin doing his best to keep up. "Oh kid... do you want a lift?" He asked his Riolu and got a stout no.

"Maybe you're just getting senile," Genesis teased, returning his grin with one of her own. Then, with mock solemnity, "But I'm sure you'll be a staunch protector to little A and I."
She smiled at Aaron's refusal. His pride reminded her of some of her own Pokémon, and he was so young, too.
"Where'd he get his hat?" she asked curiously, eager to hear more about the cute little Riolu.

"I certainly hope not. I'd have to retire then and I'm not ready to do so just yet." Corbin replied before doing a short bow, "I shall do my utmost to protect you Eliza and little A."
At the mention of the hat he gave a sort of sad smile. "It's a keepsake from his previous trainer. My sister Ada hatched him, had him for a little while, and went to some town where they had that hat. Naturally he fell in love with it and she got it for him but then she discovered that she wasn't doing such a good time raising him with all of her other pokemon, breedings, and other stuff. She asked me to watch over him. He was devastated to leave her and never goes without that hat."

When Caelis awoke she went about her normal morning routine, it wasn't until Amaryllis entered the house with a piece of paper in her paws that Caelis stopped her auto-pilot motions. "What have you go there Ammy? The woman reached down to grasp the flyer and looked it over. Hot-air balloon rides? Oh heck yes! She wasn't doing anything else really, all of her chores were caught up and she was between jobs at the moment. Finishing up her morning chores and cleaning up all the dishes she hurried to pack a bag.
She dashed around the house grabbing items from each room. Her basic survival kit, a special and more complete first-aid kit, a change of clothes, water bottles, and yes, even some snacks, after all, it said lunch would be provided but who knew if it would be any good? Satisfied that she had everything she would need she called back all of her pokemon with the exception of Branimir, her arcanine, and locked up the house behind her. "Alright Branimir, let's go see what this is all about shall we? To the docks buddy."
Branimir gave a bark in response and waited for Caelis to climb up onto his back before he shot off like a bolt of lightning. Caelis held on to fistfuls of cream colored neck fur as they raced across the countryside. The wind whipped across her face and turned her ears and nose red from the cold but she was too excited to care. A short while later a bunch of buildings came into view and Branimir slowed down to a brisk walk as he made his way through the city streets.
Soon the sound of wingulls and pelippers were loud enough to make Caelis wish she had brought earmuffs. Looking around she spied a group of people waiting next to a building. She directed Branimir towards them and when she got there she slid off his back. "Thanks Branimir, you're the best!" She gave him a pat and a treat she returned him to his ball.
Turning back to look at the rest of the crowd she smiled kindly "Is this the group for the balloon tour?"

Remmy walk to the dock with Squeeks on his shoulder. He is hold a huge map and it covering his face. He look confused and not really know what going on.
"Soo this paper thing said we going on a Big Balloon! Cool Huh Squeeks?" He said to Squeeks. Squeeks nodds his head and smiles.
Remmy keep walk until he bumps into someone.

Genesis gave a mock curtsey, chuckling all the while. She was glad her companion had a sense of humor to him. Maybe the balloon ride wouldn't be as bad as she thought.
"Aww, poor guy," she said, running a hand through Ajax's fur. "A got his collar from his old owner and won't part with it, either. I took him in when his original trainer couldn't care for him anymore."
Ajax turned an eye towards the young pup, intrigued by their similar histories. Though he didn't mind his new trainer, he still missed his old one. Sadly, the man had died, and there was no hope of a reunion for him.

Fifi assumed that the presence of the flyer in her base mailbox meant that this was a mission. So she packed a bag, ditched the Rocket duds in favor of her favored frilly civvies, saddled Alastyn, and rode to Katarina.
Riding up to the dock, she noticed other people milling around. Dismounting, she kept a firm grip on Alastyn's reins as she peered around with a vapid expression of mild confusion.
Magnolia hadn't been taught to not talk to strangers, but she didn't need the lesson. Her hesitance prevented her from answering immediately. Her hand broke from Laurence's before Kili could take a step onto it and, instead, she could only stare questioningly at the mishmash of a Pokemon that looked neither like a Pikachu nor Pachirisu. Was this a new legendary Pokemon she hadn't heard of? She knew most about the rare beasts that roamed the world, but never saw anything quite like this!
Rho stood on all fours on her shoulder, raised in a menacing arch with his mouth curled back to the whites. He hissed in defense of his owner, catching the nervous tremble of her as a sign she was likely in danger. The fourteen year old had to gently coax him to calm with a few pats of his head, then sighed, and answered, "I-I'm Magnolia and, um, I'm not. I have Rho here."

Kili scampered back to the safety of Laurence's other shoulder. Laurence nodded; that's how most youngsters were nowadays... Traveling with pokemon as their only friend. Well, he was in exactly the same situation... Still, he wondered if he ought to keep an eye on Magnolia and the other young teens on this strange balloon ride.
From the safety of the other side of Laurence's head, Kili chattered challenges to Rho.
"Settle down, Kili," Laurence admonished, petting her back lightly. "Magnolia and Rho are our friends, right?" He glanced back to Magnolia with a warm and querying smile.

Rho had calmed, but was still on edge. He never once removed his eyes from the duo -- especially the unknown creature that instigated a battle with him. Had Magnolia not been such a pessimist, he would've crushed that rodent between his diamond claws! Losing his anger to a light purr when the fourteen year old scratched that little spot behind his ear again, Rho eventually thrust those thoughts from his mind.
Magnolia managed a small smile, but it fled it like every other emotion that seemed capable on human faces. She tilted her head at the man, unsure of what to say. "We . . . are?" she asked. Wasn't there certain protocols and regulations that must be fulfilled for one to promote from "acquaintances" to "friends"? She was positive Laurence registered under the former and didn't know if people could before friends after only a few sentences.

"Sure we are!" Laurence said decisively. Kili settled down a bit as well.
What a solemn girl! Laurence thought to himself. He wondered if she seemed so nervous because she lacked confidence in herself, or simply because he wasn't her age. Either way, he decided that he would see if he couldn't gain her trust and cheer her up a little.
"Have you ever ridden in a hot air balloon before?" he asked by way of making conversation.

Koorie held the strange paper in her hand, bags under her eyes and her normally behaving hair sticking out at random angles. She vaguely remembered the mad scrambling of a certain Bidoof going down the stairs and scratching at the door sometime after midnight, but who in their right mind would take the time to do this? A frown creased her face as she recognized the name of the cruise she had gone on- the very same one she'd brought Daggett home from.
Miu padded up next to her and rubbed against the woman's leg.
"It's fine, Miu...." She said softly, closing the door behind her. As much as she wanted to go, she wasn't stupid enough to fall for what might be a complete scam. Closing the door behind her, she started up the stairs back to her room. "Hey George... how do you feel about another 'vacation'."

Koorie sauntered up the wooden planks of the docks, a backpack swung loosely over a shoulder. After George had left her place she'd gotten ready quickly, packing only the essentials of warmer clothes, dried foods, and plenty of medicines and first aid. If there had been one thing she'd learned over the last few of her 'vacations' things always took a turn for the worst. Looking around, she noticed quite a few people had already begun gathering around.

Cara had decided to go on this journey. The last one had been rather...interesting, even if she couldn't remember it all. She had made sure that her Pokemon would all be cared for by having a friend look after them all, and making sure that her Pokemon were all friendly with that friend. One could never be to careful with whom they left their loved ones with. The flyer said that each participant could bring one pokemon with them and when Spirit, Cara's Vibrava, had seen it, she became very adamant about being the one that went with her.
So now, after packing up everything that they might need (rope, flares, non-perishable/dehydrated food and water, sleeping bags, blankets, changes of clothes, flashlight, batteries, and first aid items for both of them, most of it just in case), the duo were on their way to the docks.
It was getting to the time of year when the weather is getting cooler. She knew that the Southern lands would be quite warm, even at this time so she dressed, and packed, accordingly; wearing a pair of jeans, light t-shirt, boots, and bringing with her a comfy jacket she could easily pull on. Cara knew that if they ended up being out there overnight, it would get very cold. She only knew this because of environmental sciences and such but at least Spirit liked the Desert, it's where her species comes from. Cara happily looked up at the Vibrava who was happily flitting along in the air next to her and laughed. That was one happy Pokemon.
As they neared the docks, she started seeing more and more people and Pokemon headed in the same direction. "We aren't the only ones who got the flyer." She commented to Spirit and they arrived at the dock, joining everyone else.

Magnolia cast him a look of indifference when, in reality, she was recalling all of the other vessels her parents forced her on in her youth. She favored sea vessels like boats, land vehicles that carved across the land like bullet trains and expensive cars, seen the sights of Unova high on Nimbasa City's Rondez-View ferris wheel, but never once took to the air. Her head shook to him.
"I've never been on one. I've seen them though. How about you, um, Mr. Laurence?" she asked.

George is a very heavy sleeper so it wasn't until Koorie had come back from checking the door that he woke up and realized she was talking to him. It took him a minute to process what she had asked him and he yawned largely before answering her. "Sure, if its a.." He raises his hands and air quotes when he says, "vacation". "We had better pack and get ready as if it was like our last 'vacation'. God only knows what the Team Rocket members are trying to pull this time."
It wasn't until morning that George was up and getting ready for the day that he started to gather his camping equipment as well as things that he would probably need for the trip. Since they were going to a desert he didn't really have to worry about rain but a tarp would be useful in many situations. For the cold nights he was bringing a thick sleeping bag. He also had 2 sets of clothes to change into as well as basic fire equipment. He had some sanitizer tablets for making drinkable water and a small pot that could be used for cooking in. In a separate compartment he had put made sure to pack around 10 pairs of hand cuffs and a rugged, waterproof and fireproof locked box of his extra clips, ammo and the key for the handcuffs. Hanging from a loop on the outside of his backpack he kept a small hand axe, a cup and a bowl ready for use anytime he needed them.

He knew that Team Rocket was up to something and he was going to put a stop to it this time. On his belt he kept his pokeball for Lazuli and 2 knives ready for any trouble but kind of out of sight on the back of his belt. He kept his guns in their shoulder holsters and out of sight from any on lookers. He wanted to be prepared for any trouble so he also had a couple handcuffs on the right side of his belt within easy sight. He wanted TR members to know and easily tell that if they started trouble here he was going to lock them up. With his scary get up, it seemed a bit off and yet fitting to have his Ralts, Lazuli, sitting on his shoulder with a pin stripped fedora on swinging her feet back and forth as he walked toward the ship.
He noticed walking in front of him a ways on her way to the ship was Koorie. He smiled seeing her though she was packed light and he was fairly heavily packed ready for anything. He mentally shrugged to himself as he attempted to catch up with her. "Hey there. You ready for this 'vacation'? You notice anyone you recognize yet? I haven't really seen anyone I know other than you yet."
He quickly scanned over the area, trying to find a familiar face. There were a couple people he was sure he had seen before but couldn't put a name to their face. Others he had never seen before, he was sure but there wasn't any friends that he could see was here yet. He wondered if anyone else he knew was going to be here.
