The days have grown rather boring for Ayunken. He had stopped venturing out side of the pride lands, and decided it was time he pulled his weight around the place. Of course, it wasn't his ideal motion, but he couldn't leave his mother like the rest of his siblings had. He sighed, thinking just perhaps he had made the wrong choice. No matter, he'd have to find his own entertainment, and maybe someone new around that he hadn't seen.
He yawned, and emerged from under a a few huge plant leaves that were almost as big as he was long. He loved this place too much to leave, he decided. He flicked his tail and smiled as he started to move towards the river to get a drink. Snakes and monkeys and other creatures always were amusing to talk with at times, maybe they'd have a few new gossips to share with him.
He was a huge gossiper sometimes. He also liked to keep clean. He spent along time cleaning and keeping his blue fur as bright and blue as it could ever be. His ego was his down fall, it seemed.
