What if you replaced Shang with Kamina in Mulan?

He'd blow Shang's "I'll make a man out of you" montage out of the water. He'd teach everyone how to roundhouse kick rockets at Mongolians or something and turn Mushu into the badass dragon he's always aspired to be.

Gurren Lagann after getting the Dai-Gurren is hitting me in the feels.

Yeah I'm ashamed. :[ I quote the show all the time and am just now watching it from beginning to end.

I've greatly enjoyed the show's pure manliness drilling through all logic and reason. "hey your mech is a head, if you ram it onto my mech that's a head, we'll be stronger like that other mech with two heads!"
*smoosh together*
*delayed magical mech transformation sequence*
*add helmet for extra powah*
What.

I haven't worked in a long while. Today was my first day of work in a bit so I was really happy we began to get out of the hole. It reminded me of when I first started out and absolutely hated my job. I was knee deep in dirt every day, and I would always tell myself I hated being there or that I should be somewhere else and that it was only temporary... which it still is, but regardless I used to really hate my job.

Gurren Lagann was kind of a crutch. I was, and still am more or less a digger. I had realized a good deal of things and I began to like that fact a little more. It helped me pretty well back than and it was at that specific time in my life when I started watching it. It filled me with a lot of hope. The world was pushing me down but it wasn't about that. I needed to use my drill to pierce the heavens. emotion_donotwant
