I haven't worked in a long while. Today was my first day of work in a bit so I was really happy we began to get out of the hole. It reminded me of when I first started out and absolutely hated my job. I was knee deep in dirt every day, and I would always tell myself I hated being there or that I should be somewhere else and that it was only temporary... which it still is, but regardless I used to really hate my job.

Gurren Lagann was kind of a crutch. I was, and still am more or less a digger. I had realized a good deal of things and I began to like that fact a little more. It helped me pretty well back than and it was at that specific time in my life when I started watching it. It filled me with a lot of hope. The world was pushing me down but it wasn't about that.
