What kind of hero are you? (PRP Arcene and Storm)

Blue flames licked at the undergrowth around her and the smoke was thick and choking. Crawling on her belly Arcene had no idea how it really happened. She had just been traveling and minding her own business when she had decided to explore the cave. How was she to know that it was home to that ornery deava? She was sure there had been someone else in the cave but hadn’t gotten a good look at them. Now she was running from her life from a flame that was consuming the forest. Coughing she shook her head to try and clear it. Something crashing and splashing got her attention. If there was water she could hide in it right? Scampering toward it she didn’t find it as much as fall into it. There was a burning log in the water but it was far enough that it wouldn’t hurt it. She curled up by the bank half hiding under it in the water whimpering. She was scared.

Storm growled as the Little striped cretin ran away with his dinner. The food her had found after some humans left, after having lunch near his home. then some striped rodent, or cat or whatever came and took off with his haul. Obviously storm was going to catch it and get his food back. He continued chasing it, until he saw it get ballsy enough to run into a area that was on fire, not just fire, daeva fire."You got some real guts racoon....get back here!" he Ran in after it. Moving besides the flames careful not to get burnt.

Mewling quietly Arcene tried hard not to breathe in the smoke. There was small creatures running away from the blaze, and a few that were so scared by the flames that they were just running any which way they could to try and escape the heat. Some of them wouldn’t make it she knew. Her heart broke for each and every one that might not live to see its family again. She hunkered down lower in the water to escape the heat that she could feel pressing in on her. Her ear charm made a small chiming noise as it always did when she moved to quickly.

Storm ran through the forest chasing the racoon until he reached an area and heard a small bell. he sighed and ran to the source of the ringing and saw a silver form." he growled and pawed at it "hey wake up, theres a fire around here, you shpould probably get out unless you have a death wish." he coughed a bit when he inhaled some smoke.  

[Reoakee]

Being pawed at made Arcene open an eye still crouched low in the water. Shivering she saw horns on her conversational partner and curled up tighter. It didn’t look like the deava who had started the fire but her body was working faster than her mind and reacted instantly. She was unnerved already and couldn’t make her body cooperate beyond managing to get out “stay low, less smoke.”

Storm raised an eyebrow when she told him to stay low ,but seeing the point in it he crouched down and crawled. slowly taking the lead annoyed that the racoon had escaped him."just follow me okay." He continued to crawl towards the outside of the forest checking behind him to see if she was still following.

Not really being able to see where she was headed Arcene followed the fox in front of her. The yellow and black tail was fairly easy to follow inspite of the smoke. At least she thought it was yellow and black. Maybe the smoke was worse that she thought. That idea scared her somewhat. The bell jingled occasionally as she moved at an odd angle to follow the other fox out of the fire. Was this really safe? She coughed and kept moving scared out of her mind.

Storm reached the exit of the forest and was out of the fire."okay cmon lets keep moving before it spreads further..." he waited for the girl to follow.

Coughing she had no idea who this was or where she was even really headed. Nodding she moved in the direction he had indicated and ended up bumping into him. She wanted to say sorry but didn’t have the breath to waste.
