[EVENT-ORP] We've Got Fun and Games

Finally! It was his turn again, though it took him some time to realize it, he was a little caught up in watching the female dart away from the games without so much as a second glance. She was definitely an odd sort wasn't she? Tilting his head a bit, he looked to the male for some sort of explanation, but knew he wouldn't get one. The two seemed to have their own language ... one he couldn't understand.

Finally, he shrugged off the encounter and stepped towards the starting position once more. Getting into position he dug his claws into the soil, before kicking himself off the ground and right at the circles. This time he kept his eyes open, sure he was going to get the bullseye!

But again, he did not.

Though he wasn't upset, he was actually a bit happy! There had been no shaking,or fear this time. He'd conquered the fear of falling down the hill.

A smug smile now plastered across his face he strutted away from the game and back into line. Even if he didn't win the game, he'd still won something.

It seemed like he was the only one with a jump left- he didn't know why, but it somehow made him nervous. Thinking about everyone watching him, despite the fact that they had been the whole time, suddenly had him feeling just a little awkward as he moved up the hill. Swallowing a knot in his throat, he ran down the hill again, making another leap for the rings.

However, he may well have just stopped with his last leap, considering how poorly he had managed to leap this time around. He landed much further from his mark than he had been anticipating, which shocked him. Who knew he could get shy around crowds? It was true he had never worked or competed in front of large groups before. Was it possible he had just found something to train on? Apparently, when he thought about it, at least, being in front of others affected him.

He needed to go back to focusing on games- that way, he didn't even notice the others looking. However, he felt he had jumped enough for one day, and since he was feeling just a little embarrassed, he scooted back towards the others in hopes of keeping himself from further awkwardness.

Still, he was happy. Happy he had managed to jump very well for the most part! Maybe he didn't need to worry so much about there being so many lions around after all.

He actually could play with them, and that was exciting.

Taji kept track of the jumps as the different felines participated. He cheered them on with the rest of the crowd, applauding the wonderful jumps he saw. One of the lions took off about halfway through the game, which left just the leopard and the lion remaining. He wondered what she was doing since she had been jumping so well, but he had to stay with the game. Drat...normally he'd be the one to go after players like that to make sure everything was okay.

But then the game ended with the leopard as the winning. He circled the ten claw marks in the dirt before standing, a wide smile on his face. "Ladies and gentlemen, we have a winner! Congratulations, Konji!" He brought the leopard another wreath of flowers that a pride member had woven together and draped it over his head. It slid down to his shoulders since he was a bit smaller than it had been intended for, but it still looked very nice.

"And to all who participated, a wonderful effort! That is what the Kwa Kikombe is all about. Trying your best and having fun! We do hope you've enjoyed our games and please, stop by again when you have the chance."
