Honestly is key...What do you think of Valentines day?? like it ? not really? Why?
Family tradition for this day? If you dont mind sharing them, that would be awesome!
A Family tradition that ill share is we sit in a circle and Thank God for each other. We pray for family that not well,is well and thank God for Life!
The seconded Saturday of the month my dad plays music at a church and it just a big party. Family and friends come from all over the place. smile <3

That sounds like a really fun holiday at your house. I've never thought of incorporating prayer for family during Valentine's Day, but I think I'll try to do so this year. Thanks for sharing :3
Valentine's Day is one of my four favorite holidays (the others being Halloween, 4th of July, and Christmas). I still buy Valentines from Walmart that come in themed boxes to pass out in elementary school. :p I'm still a little girl at heart, and it only adds to it. This year, I bought My Little Pony Valentine's, and I plan on giving them to the moms of the babies I watch at the daycare I work at. I'm not sure how much the moms of the boys will like them, but I'm throwing in Krispy Kreme coupons too for 1 free doughnut :3
My family has never really had a tradition, though my mom always gets me and my brother some goodies. One year, she bought everyone something, but no one got her anything back, and I felt completely wretched afterwards. Ever since then, I've made sure to get her something.

Have you ever had Good Earth tea before?

I sure hope I make them happy. I've had problems with half of the babies' moms...I hope this helps them forgive me. I know I'm incompetent, but the good thing, is that I'm learning.

{{.:*''*:.Bean-
I have nothing against the holiday itself; I just feel we should celebrate love all the time, and not from a commercialized holiday smile
That said, I try to do something around the season, but not necessarily on the day (did you notice that a dozen roses cost about $12 in spring and summer, but cost $24 for Valentine's Day?). This year my hubby treated me to a Murder Mystery dinner, which is something I've wanted to do for years! We went on Feb 2 and had a blast!
This Valentine's day I'll be going to a yoga class and coming home to cuddle my hubby and kitties, just enjoying the company of each other.
Oooh, maybe we can light a fire <3
