D.L closed his eyes tightly from the pain, he wasn't sure he could with stand this any longer. He didn't notice Iblis come though towards him until he felt warm hands on his head, the pain slowly fading as D.L finally opens his eyes a bit after awhile. "Th-Thanks..." he said quietly to Iblis but blushed in embarrassment, he hated showing some weakness but he felt like he should thank her.

~Kiro the Hedgehog~

Kiro Lightly caught D.L. and helps him down for a rest before Iblis came back in. "I know..", he said calmly when D.L. warned him about Megan. The young hooded hedgehog runs up to the keyboard and quickly begins to set up the settings for the exterior defense of the factory. He discovered some interesting varieties of defensive operations that even the factory may not have. Clearly D.L. hacked more than just the interface of the factory but also Eggman's files for defensive tactics in case of a dire emergency. He quickly sets the turrets outside the build on full scale look out. And a jamming signal in case someone outside would try to hack thier way into the mainframe and regain control of the system. And lst but not least, the hooded hedgehog found on more surprise. He sets up a little decoy signal to shut down another old factory on the other side of the area. While that could keep th enemy occupied, he quickly resets the password in case Eggman still manages to hack his way though. The Password was quite long like a sentance instead of a word. A familiar catch phrase that would rile up the old man if he were to figure it out. And thats when he set the password to activate the force field to defense the premises as a last resort of defense. "Ok that should do it....", he patted the keyboard and looked back at everyone. "This place is yours now. Good Job D.L.", Kiro said to everyone then looks back down to D.L. seeing that he deserves the most credit.

D.L heard Kiro and was slight surprised that he gave him credit, he was half expecting Kiro to mostly take the credit and for everyone else but not himself. He wasn't use to being included or praised for doing a good job on anything, he looked at Kiro for a moment then looked away to the ground. D.L didn't feel like he deserved it though since he has done many wrongs, he has killed people and didn't care about anyone but himself but something told him half of that wasn't true. "I..." he sighs deeply, he wasn't sure what to say.

Unfortunately, Megan won't get the Doctor's message, since the signal is far too faint for the low-gain amplifier to lock onto it, and the high-gain isn't coming back without some soldering to swap the fried MOSFETS for good ones. Fortunately though, she can see all of the MR-01 units converging on the location, and it looks like every single one in service at this time. Perhaps they can prove themselves and Eggman will order full-scale production of them.

As the transport approaches the factory, Megan takes out her skateboard and holds it in one hand, the M60 in the other, and at a point she feels is appropriate, steps onto the board, off the transport, and starts pushing towards a side entrance, ordering all the other units on board to do the same.

Eggman noticed that Megan hasn't responded back after awhile and normally she would at least reply, he knew something wasn't right once his computers and robots started having trouble or shutting down completely. He would have to find out what's going on first but apparently the factor has shut down near by, he tried working on the computer's programming to get it to boot back up but it wasn't working and it was blocked by a new password. "Argh... It must be D.L, that hedgehog must be still alive." he said then typed into his computer and ordered some robots to check out the factory but to not enter, he wanted to surround the area so that D.L couldn't escape unless he put up a good fight. Eggman was sure D.L was still badly injured but he knew that hedgehog healed quickly, he grinned slightly as he thought of using that brainwash chip again and possibly getting him to suffer for disobeying him. Eggman had designed it to work as a control for obeying orders but it also could be used to harm D.L, he grinned even more as he starts to activate the chip and increase the power.

D.L flinched suddenly in pain as he held his head, sparks flying off his wrists as he tries to struggle. "Argh... no n-not ...again..." he said then grinds his teeth together as he tries to endear the pain, his vision was getting blurry and harder to focus as the chip in his brain got more painful. D.L fell on his knees and continued to struggle, he was getting tired though from this and if it kept going. D.L was sure he wouldn't be able to fight it.

Nina noticed as D.L fell on his knees and his rings sparked with electricity that he was in extreme pain, she rushed over to Kiro and Iblis with a worried expression. she didn't know what to do though as she watched in horror, the pain must be coming from the chip in his brain since he is holding his head but this seemed much worse.

Iblis saw D.L suddenly fall to his knees in pain. She saw Nina's worried look and knew that she had to do something. Iblis rushed to D.L's side and put her hands on his head again, but this time Iblis increased the heat and attempted to fry the chip. She knew that this would hurt him, but it couldn't be more painful than the pain that he's already in.

D.L felt the heat again on his head but it felt painful instead of comforting, he tried to move away from Iblis but he felt so weak that he struggled with moving. His ears droop to the sides and as he puts his hands up to try and move her hands away, the rings spark with electricity and sorta shocked her when he touched her hands. "S-stop... it hurts..." he mumbled slightly in pain, he had trouble speaking clearly because of the pain in his head. He didn't like it when Iblis tried to heat his head up like that either and struggled, he would rather die then feel this much pain.

Megan and her squad of MR-01s eventually move to the wall beside the side entrance, damaging any of the automated weapon turrets they happen to come across, just in case Kiro and Light have already turned the automated defense system against them. Now to get inside...

...Megan connects a cord from the custom 128-pin socket to her neural/digital control, then plugs the other side into the 128-pin socket in the service panel of the electronic lock control, then tries her username and password: access denied. Megan then sends a status update from the lock panel to the mainframe in an attempt to open a small backdoor and perhaps upload a virus.

Of course, if neither of those work, Megan has two more options:
- smash the panel, pull it out, and pop the lock solenoid manually (bypassing the panel altogether)
- blast the handle off with a 30 millimeter cannon round or grenade

TD slowly caught up with the other robots and wondered to Megan's side, he tilt his head in confusion when he saw Megan working on something. He scanned the area but couldn't tell what was in side really, there was a lot of static interfering with it.

~Kiro the Hedgehog~

"Whats happening?!", the hooded hedgehog ran up to D.L. in agony. Apparantly it must be the doctor's doing. What ever he did, it must be far too excessive even for him. Obviously, the old man has gone into a far deeper end than he thought. Now two problems at once appeared before him. If D.L.'s condition couldnt make things any worse, one of the camera's automatically show Megan attempting to breach the factory when its one full lock down, unless he could put up the force field. The problem was that she was with in the range of the field. Apparently, she was possible trying to do hack her way through the lock panel. The young hooded hedgehog tightened his grip and grinded his teeth seeing that all his hard work to find safety was about to fly out the window. Even his chance to find answers from the suriviors and figuring a way out of this crazy world was going out as well. Thats went a small group of technicians moved Kiro out of the way and told him that they try everything they can to keep her from coming in even if shell try to upload a virus. "This computer as access to another mainframe at another factory. Maybe you guys can form a distraction", he told them as they nodded planning to mess around with the other factory on the other side of the area. If Megan tries to upload the virus, theyll isolate it and send to the other factory. Or theyll upload a virus themselves and cause the other factory to go haywire.

At that moment, thats when Kiro formatted a new plan. It'll make things complicated, but it should keep the people safe for the time being. "Ok, I'll be leaving now. But nobody move from this premises or follow me. Stay as quiet as possible. They obviously arent sure you guys are here. On my signal, throw out the force field", he said to the techs as he puts down what appears to be a tiny speaker. Possibly some high tech looking transmitter. What ever the hooded hedgehog has got planned, it must be dangerous. And with the force field in place, nothing can get in. And Kiro and D.L. made sure the power was hooked onto Eggman's main power. If he wants the field down, he;d have to shut down the power to his entire empire and leave himself vulnerable. It might be the last time anyone might see him. And he hasn't even shown his face or even gave them his name. He then runs off into the vents giving everyone a peace-out sign.

Several moments later, Megan would get a little surprise as five of her robots far behind suddenly went down falling into pieces as if they've been cut cleanly by some sort of sharp object. And before her stood a black hooded figure that she'd possibly never seen before holding a long sharp katana. "Didnt anyone teach you to knock?", he said in a cold dark tone.

Megan yanks the USB cable then turns around while raising the muzzle of her M60 to Kiro, and only checks to see if it's pointing in the right direction before she pulls the trigger to send the 7.62 millimeter rounds his way. Of course, the barrel would likely deviate since she's firing it one-handed right now, but it would likely startle Kiro to see a 10-year-old purple hedgehog one-hand an M60 (though she's really only six).

Iblis heard Kiro, but was too busy trying to save D.L. She felt D.L shock her, but she refused to move. "No! I won't lose you...not again..." Iblis said slightly sad remembering her failure to help Light years ago. She wasn't going to let D.L die. She increased her heat drastically at one last attempt to fry the chip in D.L's head. However, his sparking rings shocked Iblis again, but with even more power and she was sent flying across the room. She slammed against a wall hard and fell to the floor. The amount of electricity that she was shocked that second time with was a dangerously high amount.

D.L felt the heat increase more and the pain seemed unbearable for him, his rings sparked violently with so much electricity that he didn't realize that he was shocking Iblis til he heard her hit the wall. D.L fell on his hands and knees as he breathed heavily from the pain, the pain seemed to have subsided though as his vision clears but he was slightly relieved of the serious pain being gone.

Nina freaked out a bit when Iblis got dangerously shocked by D.L and quickly rushed over to her, she checked Iblis' pulse and noticed it was low but still there and it seemed she was breathing but that didn't mean she was alright. She had seen D.L use his electricity to kill people before, she noticed though that he wasn't using it anymore but staring over at Iblis with... concern or worry. Nina saw that only for a moment before his eyes turned emotionless, seeing him come over weakly towards Iblis.

D.L knelt down to Iblis and scooped her up in his arms, he quickly but gently put his palm on Iblis' forehead and tried to focus on the ability Light would mostly use to heal. The rings glowing golden and bright as he whispered the words, his eyes also glowed a sort of bright purple color and a mix of blue. ...This girl... What did she mean? lose me again... D.L thought deeply on that question inside his head, he removed his palm from Iblis' forehead once he was done healing her wounds. He was sure Iblis would be alright but D.L felt so tired that he almost couldn't stay conscious, his energy was slipping from lack of sleep and for over using his power.

~Kiro the Hedgehog~

"What the....shes only a kid? Wait........", Kiro thought and was a bit discouraged at the bare sight to see only a child before him. But the sight of the expression in her eyes seem very unnatural. Its not the first time he's seen a pair of eyes like that. The moment she pulled out the M60, he silently responded with a sigh,"Oh great.....". He quickly dodges the rapid fire running up the walk and kicks off in a back flip, twirling in the air. While in that moment, he draws his blade and start spiraling at an incredible speed diving straight at the barrage of bullets coming at him. Every shot that would hit gets deflected away from the use of his keen eyes and instinctive timing. It almost appeared as if he actually turned into a drill diving down ready to spiral and penetrate Megan's defenses. But instead, the blade goes cleanly through the barrel and passed the chamber, causing the inside of the gun to jam and break. He stood there halted in place with the blade shoved deep inside the gun through the barrel without a scratch on him and stared down at Megan. "Kids shouldn't play with guns", he said in a cold tone with a savage glare under his hood.

Meanwhile, the techs quickly worked their way through the other factory's mainframe and began setting the program to attack itself by setting the robots to destroy it from the inside.

TD looked at Kiro as he appeared but didn't notice til his other robot friends got destroyed, he growled at the guy but didn't make a move to attack since Megan was shooting. When Kiro destroyed the weapon Megan was using though, TD growled then lunched at Kiro with his metal fangs trying to bite him or warn him to back off. "You will not harm, Megan!!" he snarled with rage at Kiro, stepping in the way to protect Megan.
