Setting: The light blue and gold uni horn vixen was bustling about in her cozy little kitchen. She had music on in the background and hummed as she worked. She was preparing goodies and drinks for the company that she was expecting to show up soon. She shifted her bracelets out of her way as she put things in the oven. She glanced out the open window in her kitchen that showed the path leading to her cabin. She was feeling a bit excited and yet confused at the same time. Something her company said the last time left her a bit baffled.

Melody walked up to the cabin entrance, hoping she had the right address. She hesitated for a moment and looked back at her daughter that she'd brought with her. She smiled at her. "Are you ready to meet a new person Spira?" Turning back Melody knocked on the door.Spira eyed the house they'd arrived at. A HUGE cabin. Her small mouth dropped in surprise and she held onto the crystal bell that her mother had given her tightly. She would be meeting a new really nice lady her mother had said. Although Spira was often quiet, in fact she'd never said a word in her life, she was excited to meet someone knew. She'd known her mother had seemed really sad for a while, even after adopting her, but then one day she'd gone to a coffee shop and come back really happy saying she'd met a new friend that Spira would also meet super soon. Well, now was the time to meet her. Her mother turned around to assure her, but Spira didn't need assurance, she trusted her mother completely.

The timer on the oven had just went off and so Des didn't see her guest approach. But she knew they were there when she heard a knock on the door. "Come in the door is unlocked and I'm in the Kitchen," She called back as she opened the oven to look and see if the cookies she backed where done. Inside on a rack was about a dozen or so oatmeal chocolate cookies and warm and big, giving off a delicious smell. She grabbed some hot pads and pulled them out of the oven and set them on a cooling rack before putting the second batch of cookies in and the timer back on.

Melody smiled and pushed open the door, ushering in the little Spira after here. "Hello Des!" She closed the door behind them with her hoof and a lovely scent caught her nose. "Are those chocolate chip cookies I smell?" A large smile spread over her face as she walked around the corner and say Des cooking in the kitchen.
Spira weaved in and out of her mother's legs as they entered into the cabin. She made her way over towards the rug in front of the fireplace which was a little less slick on her legs. As soon as her mother mentioned chocolate chip cookies though the smell wafted down towards her as well and she jumped up pleased at the smell. Yay cookies! She loved the feeling of the molten chocolate dribbling down her chin. Auntie Des was off to a good start in their friendship.

"Hello Mel. And why yes they are. Freshly baked to." she called back in good spirits. Despoina set the tray of cookies on the cooling rack then headed into the other room to greet her guests. "How was your guys's trip?" she asked as she entered the living room. "Hello there little Spira. How are you doing this fine day?" she asked with a warm welcoming smile.
