The Gang Leader (Retake)

[ashitaka kaida]

the pup barked again before leaning down to gently bite at the meat, gnawing on bones to strengthen his teeth then eating at the meat around it quickly. when he was done, he licked his lips and looked up at lania. his tail wagged happily as he jumped into her lap  

[Elena the Neko]

Lania looked at the meat a bit discusted. She ate small bites but ended up just setting it down and not touching it again. When the pup jumped in her lap she pet his head, "Your much happier now." She said softly.

the pup nodded and leaned up to lick her cheek before curling around and resting in her lap. he instantly fell asleep from her warmth and his round, full belly

Lania watched the pup sleep and looked around. People were watching her. She looked away from them and stared at the forest outside of the cave. She hoped Daren and the others would find her.

Far off Phantom was in a rage, "What do you mean you can't find her?! Your a ******** wolf! Sniff her out!"  

[ashitaka kaida]

"what do you think I've been doing?!" Daren yelled back at Phantom as he looked around at the forest "her scent was here but it's now mixed with the scent of other wolves. they've been all over this area, so it's hard to try and sift through every scent" Ellie sighed and looked at phantom before grabbing his hand "daren is doing his best. just calm down and see if you can find any other traces of her with me, like foot prints or a piece of cloth or something"  

[Elena the Neko]

Phantom growled and punched a tree. "The only trace we had was her heavy footprints. But they vanished. Someone grabbed her and I want to kill whoever did!" He yelled, "She's not strong enough...." He said storming off in the direction he thought it was.

Later in the night when all she heard was sleeping Lania got up quietly with the pup. Holding him in her arms she started to tip toe to the entrance of the cave hoping to escape.

the pup squirmed feeling one of his paws hanging and he opened his eyes, whimpering softly to lania and nudging her shirt. at the entrance to the cavern were two large wolves, acting as both a guard for the pack and guards to keep their new addition inside  

[Elena the Neko]

Lania stopped seeing the wolves. Gulping a bit she knew she wouldn't last trying to get past them. Turning back around she went to her spot and laid back down. She was so defeated she felt a tear run down her face as she fell asleep with the pup.

the pup looked up and licked at her cheek, trying to wipe off the tears before curling beside her. in the morning, the pup was running around in the cavern and sneaking off some of the other rations that the pack had, bringing it to lania to cheer her up  

[Elena the Neko]

Lania woke up with the sun and sat there not knowing what to do. When the pup came with his stolen goods Lania bit her lip, "Thank you so much but its not good to steal ok? Take it back." She said petting his head.

the pup looked down at the goods and whimpered but he nodded and began to drag them all back to the people. the pup came running back when he was done and curled up in her lap as the leader came in "alright people! make sure you have what you need and it's secure! we go hunting tonight under the full moon!"

Lania looked up at the leader and gulped a bit. Turns out she couldn't hide for long. She began to wonder what was going to happen when they found out she didn't turn on the moon. She pet the pup wondering if this was the last time she would see sunlight.

the pup looked up at her and licked her hand before laying his head down. when the sun was beginning to set, Daren winced and dropped to his knees feeling his bones began to shift and his skin growing hot "uhn. . .w-we . . .p-phantom, take Ellie and go find Lania. t-the scent of the wolves was getting stronger further down this path. ."  

[Elena the Neko]

Phantom looked at him and nodded, "I expect your wolf to be behind us." He said taking Ellie's hand and running in the direction he said.

Lania stood with the rest of the people like she had been told. She had set the pup off inside the cave to be safe and she held her arms biting her lip getting more and more scared.

the people where changing around her like Daren had but the leader turned his head seeing Lania still standing and her fear growing. he snarled seeing that she was just another human and grabbed her neck, pinning her against the nearest wall as the pup barked and growled at him "you're nothing but a weak human! i should have known" he snarled, his features becoming more and more animal and grotesque. the man was about to crush her neck until he turned hearing daren's scream then roar of anger as he transformed
