Congrats, PS3 players! I'll have to let my brother know about this. He's got the PS3 version, while I've got the Xbox 360. I'll pass the info on to my FB friends, too! Thanks for the post!

Yes Yes yes I meant to report this earlier when I found out from a contact inside.... But I got real busy at work (Game tester here.) Honestly I am glad that they are getting the product but at the same time I feel like if I was in Bethesda's shoes I wouldn't give them a discount after hundreds of death threats to Pete Hines and Todd Howard that have been on Twitter Facebook and other area's of the web and just the general hmm how to put this ahh I got it bad behavior of the Ps3 community (at least 80% anyways..) This is all my oppinion anyways and no way effects anyone so have fun Ps3 peoples.

To try and say that the threats and bad behaviour came from 80% of the PS3 community is a bit misleading. I suspect that far fewer were actually involved (15%) and we simply heard from a vocal group. You have to concider that the number of players actually playing is far larger then what you hear from; most were simply upset that they seemed to be ignored or that Beth was not providing news. I know personally I was seeing a number of repeat posters on sites as well as posts that seemed too similar. Many could have been clone accounts as well.

That contained death threats for the entire team they were just not reported on since Pete is the face of Bethesda all of his were public. I still don't care at all there is no need for death threats from even 1% of the public I would create a list of user names as well as the signed names on the letters and tell the communtity as a whole they are the reason for no discount that is just me.... The saying one bad apple spoils the bunch fits well here.

Punishing the few still is not justified, what would be proper is for Beth to contact the police. By doing that, you may find out identies of some of the persons and legal action against them (which could be made public) would be far better. Besides, if you think devs don't get crap like that all the time you would be fooling yourself.

Im not fooling myself I know some devs on the team that helped make Skyrim and older titles some agree some dont that is why it is just an oppinion not forcing my views on anyone just stating an oppinion. Plus I think the gaming community would murder them folks. So would they do it hell no would I you better believe it idc about the aftermath. So all in all it doesn't matter..

The problem is, they got into a business that serves the public, companies need to make their own choices when it comes to stuff like this. Any time you have to deal with Joe Idiot, you risk some sort of hate, they are choosing not to persue, personally I would atleast see if the police could track some of them down. Best humilation is public legal humilation. I think most PS3 users are just happy to be getting something at this point. Also, read through all the comments on the blogs sometimes, seriously I think most of the time only the idiots post and I feel sorry for Gstaff.

Updated with release dates for North America! The dates for Europe are being finalized, assume a few days later.
•Dragonborn releases Tuesday, February, 12 •Hearthfire releases Tuesday, February, 19 •Dawnguard releases Tuesday, February, 26
I'd like to point out I nearly told one of the common complainers on Bethblog to shove it where the sun doesn't shine. Someone needs to teach that boy some manners and possibly hit him with a heavy stick. (where are those giants when you need them?!)
