You know that meme with what the final product is supposed to look like, and then the disastorious result of someone trying to follow the instructions, with a caption something like "perfect" or "exactly"?
That's what my head looks like right now. I'm going to find the writer of this vintage hairstyling book and poke them with a curling iron for every time they talked about "quick, easy hairstyles a women could do before work."
