Welcome to Sikukuu's winter celebration, Snow Games! This is the thread to rp with others, whether it be gift giving as part of the Giving Tree, general snow fun with others, or browsing vendors and feasting. All sorts of rp can happen here! Mrao clan members will likely be 'working' for this celebration, but are as likely to be strolling about as well! All Sikukuu members are welcome, as are any rogues who happen by and visitors from other prides! Come and join the celebration!
There are also specific threads set aside for Pinecone Decorating, as well as a Snowball Fight, and a chance to win a leopardess in the Sourpuss RP Contest!
Additionally, we celebrate the OOC arrival of the Mrao King, owned by Roxy_roxanna2!
Last, but not least, I am holding one extra prize that I haven't decided how to give out! She may be added to either the Pinecone Raffle or the Snowball Fight, depending on participation. However, I may decide to do a rp post raffle from this thread! So come join in the contests, rp to your heart's content, and you may just win this extra prize!

Jacundi had picked a comfortable spot in the sunshine to set up his booth. This was one of his favorite times of year, for his booth was less about trading his baubles for what others had to offer, but was more about randomly gifting customers with whatever caught their eye. He had particular items set aside intended for specific people, but those were hidden out of sight. If they happened to stop by, well then he'd surprise them!
He had cleared a flat area of snow at his chosen spot, near the other vendors, brushing the surface of the snow smooth with an evergreen branch. On this surface he laid out necklaces, earrings, leg and tail cuffs, and a few of the loose stones and beads that he and his primate friend had procured. The monkey didn't much like the wintertime, so he spent most of his time either in their snug den, or up in the hot spring pools, far far up in the mountains. Jacundi, however, didn't mind the cold at all. His coat fluffed out wonderfully when winter set in, so he was reasonably comfortable, at least when the sun shone and the wind was light. Even so, he kept a nice thick pelt nearby to snuggle under if the wind picked up.
The task of setting out the treasures he offered, he began to call to the chipper folks attending the pride's winter festival. "Come and see, find a gift for the sweetheart, or the adornment you've been searching for!" His voice was sing-songy and merry, and he beckoned with smiles and gestures, happily looking forward to his first chance to delight a fellow creature. |
