[PRP] Kiss the stars [Fin'lay x Kumonryu]

Fin'lay grinned as she watched her cubs fighting with one another in the den. Mahon of course had instigated the fight but it was still hilarious to watch their small bodies flying through the air and their horrible attempts at clawing the other. Then again they still had quite a while before they would be able to use their claws properly. Looking at Mahon he was certainly going to be a son of erebus, but she wondered if he would be able to go further. She wasn't sure if he was a leader or not yet. Her yellow eyes made their way to Deheune, the youngest cub of the litter. As the youngest she of course got a little bit more affection then the others just because Fin'lay and even her brother Mahon absolutely loved her pelt. Not to mention she was just one of the cutest little things ever. "Be careful." Fin'lay said with a grin as she watched Mahon try to pin his sister.

After all that had happened recently Fin'lay found it hard to imagine life without her cubs and waking up to Kumonryu every night. Provided of course the other hadn't gotten up for early patrol. She mused that if she was to die now she would die one of the happiest lionesses in the world. However, there was to be none of that. She had a pride to run, cubs to look after and a mate that just needed all the love she had to give. Not that he asked for it. But since her return she was determined to never let him go again or try to hide her feelings.

Kumonryu was very happy with his life at this time, he was a father to such wonderful cubs as well as finding a mate he loved so much. He had his sister and his mother with him, a well as a new grandmother that he didn't know existed till a while ago.

Kumo was still the protector for the pride, he was a guard; but he had a new drive to be a good protector then when he started out. When he started it was because it was all he knew how to do but now he had a family that he had to protect. It was no small feet, he had cubs that he had to watch out for,each had a different personality; and his mate was Fin'lay, the Sgiach of the pride, the leader. He couldnt be happier, things were a bit rocky in the beginning but now he loved it here with his family.

One of the guards came to relieve him after he had been working long hours, he thanked the lion and headed back to his den. Kumo made his way through the labyrinth of long tunnels and to his den. "Fin, i'm here." He said with a grin and he turned into the family den, he walked up and gave his mate Fin'lay a lick on the cheek.


Dee saw when her father licked her mother on the cheek, "Ewwwww~~~gross." She said chuckling at her parents.

At the sound of Kumonryu's voice Fin'lay's eyes instantly lit up and after he had licked her cheek she gently nuzzled him. "Welcome back." She laughed, looking over at Deheune. "Would you prefer a kiss?" Fin'lay raised an eyebrow at her daughter, smiling. "How did it go?" Fin'lay asked as she rose to her feet. That of course prompted Mahon to leave his brawl with his sister so that he could go and attack his father's tail. "Fight any bad guys?" Mahon asked with a muffled voice as he now held the tuft of Kumo's tail in his mouth, but he was being careful so as not to hurt him. As if he could. A sigh escaped from Fin'lay as she shook her head. "Someone's just lookin for a fight." She said with a grin to Kumo. "Are you tired?" She asked, looking over at Finn and noticing she was yawning. It was close to their bedtime and she wouldn't be surprised if Kumo was just as exhausted as them. Guard duty was hard work, especially if nothing happened because then you were left to stare out at nothing for hours on end.
