Christian desperately called, too late. Frozen in fear Rotty could not escape the large ball of black fire as it engulfed him, knocking him out instantly and almost incinerating him. "Enough enough I give!." Christian said as he ran in tears to his badly hurt pokemon, cradling the fainted pokemon. There were nasty burn marks all over the Tyrogue's body. "Don't worry your going to be fine just hang on!" he said as Christian tried to pick him up.
Letting out a yawn Akira slowly approached Hono Town, the streets were empty since the sun wasn't completely up yet. He navigated through town with his small handbook and soon located the Pokemon Center and the Gym. Akira decided to try his luck and walked to the gym entrance but a sign stopped him in his track. Gym Closed until 9am"9 am... What time is it now?" Looking down at his watch he gazed at the time for a good 10 seconds. "IT'S ONLY 6:50?????" He yelled before he lowered his head down and sighed "Might as well head to the Pokemon Center then." He mumbled before slouching his way to the Pokemon Center across the street. After greeting Nurse Joy he handed over for a checkup just in case. After he left his pokeballs in the care of Nurse Joy he found a small bench by the window and started to read the Muiut handbook to pass time but soon sleep took ahold of him.

She took a seat next to a black haired kid on a bench. She sat up straight, with her eyes closed. It was her way of resting, she didn't like sleeping a lot. Akira was standing in a wide open field, wind ran through his long black hair however there was no sound, he realized he couldn't smell anything either. Suddenly a man young man appeared in front of him, he was a perfect image of himself except his eyes were cold and his face was fierce. The two stared at each other until the world went black. "Sir, Sir?" Slowly he opened his eyes to find Nurse Joy standing in front of him. "Sorry to wake you up but we finished with the check up of your pokemon" Nurse Joy smiled and handed him his pokeballs which he took back with a smile of his own "Thanks alot" Sitting back he let out sigh "What was I dreaming about?" Shrugging the thought off and tried to stretch out his arm but his elbow was stopped by something soft. "Huh?" Looking to his side he saw a girl with long golden hair resting beside him, by her arm was an angry looking Sentret. "Hi the-" He tried to whisper but the Sentret pounced on his face knocking him to the ground "Ahhh! get it off!"

She stood up and saw that it wasn't a girl, but the man. The worse part was it was her pokemon which was glued to his face. She just stood there speechless for a while. After a few moments of biting and scratching, Jude looked up. "Sentret!!" He sat his butt on the kid's face and slapped him with his wagging tail. The pokemon hopped up onto the girl's shoulders. "You okay..?" She asked, yet again with a lack of emotion in her voice. She knelt down next to him and put her face next to his. Noel looked at his face, 2 scratches on his cheeks and 1 bite mark on his lip. She softly touched his lip with her fingertips. "Hmm.." `•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´`•.¸¸.•´´¯`••.¸¸.•´´¯`•´
Akira was continuously assaulted by furry fury but eventually the Sentret jumped away but not before smacking him in the face with its tail a few times. The Sentret's trainer stood over him and asked him if he was ok before placing her face close to his. Only a single thought ran through his mind. She totally doesn't care! He avoided bumping heads with her as he carefully sat up and checked his wounds. "Ya, they're just light scratches" He reached for his backpack and pulled out a couple of band-aids then applied them to his cheeks. "Does he normally attack anything that moves?" He asked with a slightly sarcastic tone. He quickly regretted his question when he saw Sentret sitting on the girl's shoulder, it looked at him as if he was its favourite scratching post. Looking away he got onto his feet and checked his watch Only 8:15, still have to wait another 45 minutes Letting out a sigh he looked out the window towards the gym, ignoring the girl.

Akira Looked down at his watch just as it hit 9 o clock. He stared out the window as a worker came out the gym and took the sign and walked back in. Unable to hold his excitement he bolted for the door of the Pokemon Center hoping to get the first battle of the day. He was also glad to get away from the girl and her killer Sentret, without looking back he rushes for the gym doors.

The gym doors were so close that he could nearly touch it! However his dreams of the first battle was trampled over by the girl back at the Pokemon Center. Literally! She rode on her ponyta and ran him over leaving him lying on this road with horse shoe prints on his back."O-ow" He lifted his head to the girl smile and enter the gym. "Why you...." Akira slowly crawled his way to the doors and entered.

Running as fast as he could Christian carried Rotty to the pokecenter, once inside he immediately cut the line and went up to the counter. "Nurse Joy, Nurse Joy! MMy friend is badly hurt pplease, can you do something?" he asked in tears. "Oh my what happened to this little one?" she asked as the Chansey carried the pokemon to one of the center's healing table. Still crying and sobbing Christian was unable to answer any of Nurse Joy's questions. It was plan as day to him now just how dangerous battle was, but if Christian wanted to be like his grandfather and avoid this he would have to become stronger than he was now.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Rested and healed Christian left the the pokecenter the next day with Rotty, who was eager to get back to battle and get stronger so something like yesterday would not happen again. They went back to where they met Yabol in hopes to find another pokemon.
Around the same area Christian discovered a small candle-like pokemon. The young trainer immediately took out his pokedex to see what he was getting into, {Litwick the Candle Pokemon, Litwicks pretend to guide people around by illuminating darkened areas, while really sucking away their life energy with its light and leading them to the Ghost World. This life energy is then burned to form the flame on their heads.. "Wow sounds like a dangerous one huh Rotty, and its a ghost/fire type so you and Yabol will be at an disadvantage." Christian told his companion. The fighting pokemon laughed at that and punched his own chest to so how strong he was. Christian smirked and released Yabol, since he would need both to defeat this pokemon.
Rotty drew the ghost pokemon's attention with Bullet Punch that, while ineffective, was his only attack that could hit a ghost-type. While Rotty drew the blunt of the attack, Yabol stood next to her trainer using Confusion when there was an opening. The Litwick used Ember to counterattack but Rotty dove out of the way and continued to unleash attack after attack until finally the Litwick blasted him with Astonish, pushing the Tyrogue off him. While painful for ROtty this was the openiing Yabol was waiting for, without a moments hesitation Yabol blasted her foe with Confusion. Christian took out a pokeball and threw it and the now confused and bruised ghost pokemon ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
