Thinking of starting a Ninja Turtles RPG (have Slag's permission and all). It would be a cross between the 2nd gen cartoon and the original comics. Before anything is finalised, somethings must be dealt with.
For starters, the following list of characters are needed:
Chester "Chet" Manley
April O’Neil (This character will probably be played by me)
Kirby O’Neil
Teng Shen
Hamato Yoshi
Master Splinter (This character will probably be played by me)
Oruku (Oroku?) Nagi
Oruku (Oroku?) Saki
Baxter Stockman
Leonardo
Michelangelo (Slag will probably be playing this character)
Donatello (Bronzycoder will most likely be playing this character)
Raphael
Hunter “Hun” Mason
Master Tatsu
Utrom (The Guardians)
Leatherhead
Casey Jones (Slag will probably be playing this character)
Ch'rell
Want to play somebody else not on the list? Perchance a character of your own creation? Please feel free to send me a private message and we will converse (author's note/update/addendum: if anyone does not like that I took April and Splinter, please send me a private message and we will talk).
Second item of business is story arcs. I would like to hear peoples ideas and, if possible, set up the groundwork for at least the first five arcs. Please feel free to comment or send me a private message (though commenting would work so much better). This being so, than I know that at least somebody out there is interested in this besides me (and possibly Slag).
Third: Character creation. How will the characters be drawn up? Because if nobody has any suggestions, I am going to borrow the character sheets Slag uses for the DC Earth 37 RPG.

GARA GARA GOONGALA!!! Would you be averse to me playing Michaelangelo by drawing inspiration from Jeff Spicoli?

Update: Thinking of adding Dr Jordon Perry, Karai and Yukio Mashimi as playable characters. Also thinking that the first arc will be set in the mid to late sixties, fifteen years before the main storyline, and that it will be back story/lead up/lead in. Also, Techno Cosmic Research Institute (TCRI) will have some part to play. Addendum - Would like to introduce at some point Lord Marcus Sandelhein, Renet and Savanti Alfonso Juanito Geriero Santiago Romero.

Psychoholic Slag So how often will Dimension X come into the story? Don't know. Depends if something comes up to include it. I know there will be no Krang from Dimension X (somebody would have to make him a Utrom in order to play him and than he would be from planet Utr). Most likely no Neutrinos either (unless the back story for the them is good enough).

A new update, if anyone cares. It does not matter that much how you have your character's mannerisms, quirks, traits, etcetera. If you choose to play Leatherhead, but want him to sound like the character from 1st gen cartoon, that's fine. If you wish to play Michelangelo, but have him acting like a boneheaded, surfer-pothead, that's fine. As long as the development is close to the Mirage/Image comics, 2nd gen cartoon or a combination of both.

Contemplating an arc where the Turtles can learn a form of elemental Ninjitsu. Leonardo would be water, Donatello would be earth, Raphael would be fire, Michelangelo would be air.
Arc-wise, know for sure that it would be it would be:
Arc one: Origins/Back story
Arc two: ???
Arc three: ???
Arc four: Possible time travel storyline
Arc five: ???

A bit more of first arc - As it would be an origin story and set in Japan of the mid to late sixties, certain characters wouldn't be present just yet. The following list of characters would be seen:
Possibly Chester "Chet" Manley, but he would be toward the very end of the arc, which would lead into the next story.
