"W-What?! Me?? You want ME to decide that!?" Neirin yelps, bemused... There was no way Lance could have known, but of all the people to be put on the spot and have a decision demanded of them, Neirin was one of the worse... He was incredibly indecisive even when not under pressure, and nearly always regretted his rushed decisions... "Err... W-well... I have some programming experience... If we can get to a computer terminal, I might be able to make him a data patch that could hold him over... B-but... I've never done it for human data before! I don't even know if it would work!" Muttering feverishly to himself, Neirin paces back and forth as he nervously weighs their options... "...but if we run into any more hostile Digimon, it might end up even worse, for him or us... Ahhh... Buuut... we can't just leave him..." he grunts strainedly.... "But if it's a matter of all of us dying or just him...... Ughhh... Agghgh.... No... NO! Screw that, let's just bring him!" Neirin finally sighs exasperatedly, waving a hand dismissively at Marco's limp form.
So Neirin directs Lance to help him carry the third boy on their shoulders and whatnot, draping his arms across theirs. "Ahh... Jeez... I don't really want to touch him..." he grouses. What if he really is dead? But despite his constant complaints, both about having to carry the extra weight and the darker Tamer's foolishness for rushing into danger, he sucks it up and bears the load on further down the tunnel...

Marco would be in luck has his allies would opt to carry him with them as opposed to leaving them behind. It would seem that despite their first meeting, Nierin would be able to look past Marco's stubborness and elect to take the bleeding lad with them.

===================================================== ENCOUNTER 3With a wounded ally, it would only seem more fit that the opposing enemies would pick this time to attempt taking out the rest of the digimon and their tamers. This time it would be a strabimon that would each be riding on top of a WhtKnightchessmon. Standing next to the Knightchessmon would be another two other BlkKnightchessmon, meaning that this encounter would be composed of 3 Knightchessmon and 1 strabimon that was acting as the rider and therefore untouchable till his "horse" would dealt with."In the name of the Ancient Warriors, we order you to halt!" the little rookie of lobomon and descendant of AncientGarurumon would call out. "Your treachery against the digimon world ends here, spawn of the Demon Lords and followers alike!!" At the start of the encounter, the two KnightChessmon that was being used as a saddle horse would glow with the power of light as it received a boost in power from the strabimon that was riding on its backs. [WKnight1 (escorting) HITs increase +2 (+1Highjack, +1 Acrobatic)] While facing all rookie digimon, the other two knights would ready their pins and fling them at Betamon and Armadillomon... the first pin, towards Betamon would explode in a might that would hit both Nierina and Betamon with a shockwave [1 damage to both], the second pin would miss, which would be fortunate as it would have hit quite a few people, one of which was already injured beyond belief, still slightly bleeding despite the first aid given to him.  : || : xxx xxx : || :  [C] Virus : || : [R] Variable : || : [C] VirusKnightChessmonWht x1 : || : Strabimon x1 : || : KnightChessmonBlk x2 5/3 HIT : || : 2/2 HIT : || : 3/3 on both

Neirin sighs to hear Lance's complaining now, having gone silent himself a minute or two ago. "It doesn't gotta be fair and complaining won't help, we just gotta do the best we can to keep going--"
But before Neirin can say any more, the five remaining individuals are ambushed by a trio of new challengers...! "In the name of the Ancient Warriors, we order you to halt!" the little rookie of lobomon and descendant of AncientGarurumon would call out. "Your treachery against the digimon world ends here, spawn of the Demon Lords and followers alike!!""
"What the-- What?! We have nothing to do with the Demon Lords!" Neirin yells irritably, giving Lance all of Marco's weight and shoving the two more injured tamers out of the way as Chessmon's dart explodes at his feet, knocking him and Betamon against the wall... "Ow... Jeez..." he grunts, weakly picking himself up.. "Neirin!" Tsunami cries in alarm, immediately hopping up despite his own injury, turning toward the enemies... "YOU'RE the mean ones!" the tough little Betamon snarls angrily. "Both of these Tamers are FRIENDS with the descendants of the Ancient Warriors! And Neirin has NEVER liked the Demon 'Turds'!" he yells, mimicking his tamer's slang as he shoots a bolt of electricity toward the black KnightChessmon, scoring a weak hit on him...
Neirin meanwhile drags himself away from the fight, motioning urgently for Lance to do the same with Marco... "We can't deal with Strabimon until we deal with his rocking horsey..." he pants, seeing that Lance had been eyeing Strabimon, guessing that he was considering something along those lines to remove the buffs from the white Knightchessmon... "Focus on the escorts so we can cut down on their team's firepower! And whatever you do... stay back..."

To Neirin's relief, both Betamon and Armadillomon are successful in avoiding the White Chessmon's attacks, and the two Digimon come back around as they prepare to strike back as Neirin rushes to help Lance support Shadow's weight... "On second thought..." he mutters as the Digimon fight, "Err... Maybe we should just leave him here sitting against the wall... So we can like, focus on helping the Digimon, you know...?" But the sounds of battle grab his attention back to that...
"Tsk... why don't you all just back down and die?!"
This outburst for some reason particularly boils Neirin's blood, and he yells out at the Strabimon to get his attention... "Hey, you! Strubbymon or whatever! Listen up, stupid! We're NOT your enemy here! We're fighting back because YOU attacked US first!! But we don't have anything to do with those friggin' Demon Lords! GOT IT?!" he roars angrily, who which Betamon fiercely agrees. "It's true! We wouldn't have fought you if you didn't attack US!" he growls, shooting another bolt of electricity at the White Knightchessmon as he avoids its attack...
Still hanging back to avoid counterattack by the remaining enemy duo, Neirin murmurs to Lance, "Once we take out the KnightChessmon, don't attack Strabimon unless he tries to attack us first... I want to see what he'll do..."

The young warrior digimon would struggle to his feet and glare at the Nierin kid, thinking of how much would would enjoy sending a dark nail into the boy's heart. "Heh... you won't be able to confuse me with your deceitful words. So very much like that prideful demon lord..." Being out numbered, he would see no alternative than to take himself out. He'd be damned if he'd go down to the hands of a "pet." His right claw would glow vigorously with black energy. "FOR YGGDRASIL!!" in a moment's notice, his claw would be swing into his own chest dealing rather lethal damage that would have him dissolving into data. "I've failed, but you'll soon be gone anyways... with that... in mind...
