Scouts is good, I was a scout up until 14 (basically when scounting ends in NZ, we dont do the older scout thing)

Kids are cool. Calving ice is cooler. They probably like you extra because they all sound American and you have a foreign accent, which instantly makes you better.

I didn't get PAID, since it was a volunteer thing, but I helped teach kids during this vacation bible school sort of thing before I went to college...does that count? It was every weekday for three weeks, if I remember correctly.

BlueCowGirl its loaded on u'r lappy>>> i'll just watch it on that if it is Indeed I did. Yep I saw plenty of epic calvings, we had a few pretty sweet glaciers we went to. And yes we have this lil card they can fill out and hand to the front desk stating "how we made the difference in thier cruise" basically a way for them to give us positive feedback which we will see after they are gone. The vast majority I got under the category of "reason for nominee" were....Accent or accent related. So even though I know Im a pretty good leader...its my accent that really keeps thier attention

Believe it or not, I was kinda terrified of the kids before I did that job. Now they're not so scary at all. Yay for overcoming fears!

Yeah, its one of those things, where almost anything can happen, but with enough experience...all of those anythings will never take you by supprise.

Those kids are freakin' out.

Question: what's that whistling in the background, about 7 seconds into the video? It sounds as if there is a very loud dolphin hanging out in large room with a slight echo.
Other question: where, exactly was this footage taken?

Other question: where, exactly was this footage taken? This was taken at Margerie Glacier, in Glacier Bay National Park, AK. Thats just over excited passengers whistling. I will post a couple more vids in a New Post to show more.
