Good luck with the new guild.

Yes, but since the reformation Catholics and Protestants have shared some very different and some very similar ideas. I created the guild to discuss those ideas. To help the different faiths better understand what the other believes and why.

A little word called "interpretation."

Let me tell you a story about an angel who was once, bascially, the top angel. Well, he got a little too big for his britches (or any other analogy you want to use) and thought that he should be in power in place of God.
Well, long story short, he and 1/3 of heaven's angels got kicked out of heaven and now are on earth.
Satan knows he can't take on God directly, so how's he do it? By attacking God's creation, including His Son's bride. He does whatever he can to manipulate people. He affects our free will.
In the exercise of our free will, we come up with different interpretations. Since none of us are God, we will not know exactly everything in the Bible as it should be. There will always be disagreement. There will always be argument.
In a perfect world, Heaven, we'd all get along just fine, but we aren't in Heaven. We're on finite, fallible earth. Please secure your safety belt, position your chairs in the full and upright position, lock any tables securely in place, sit back, enjoy your flight, and read your Bible....or something like that.
