I would be very glad to look at things on the site, but all I can do is crochet plastic bags out of plastic bags. Maybe rugs. I can make ugly rugs.
But for real, make sure you show everyone a link when this site is made.

ill be sure to post a link when the site is up and running ^^
for now i dont have deadlines it'll just be peoples portfolios and they can take commissions or sell the work they have. anyone can update it as they wish. as for payments.....well here ill post this up maybe it'll answer some questions. it's an outline i made for what the base of this is all about
Business Start up Plan (The Artisans)
What is the goal of this business?
-The goal of this business is to help artists of all kinds get commissions for their work. My business, The Artisans (name pending), is a group of dedicated people who love art and would like their work to be more well known in their community.
How will this goal be accomplished?
-This will be accomplished by first making a website dedicated to showing off my clients talents. On this site there will be people placed in categories (i.e. jewelry, costumes, drawings, etc.) matching what they would like to be commissioned to sell. Once the site is created other marketing strategies can be put into play such as advertising on other websites, creating business cards/fliers, and selling pieces at anime conventions.
What would the charge be for using this site?
-The charge would be a 25% commission fee for being apart of the site. For example if a piece sold for 20$ the commission fee would be 5$ and the remaining 15$ would go to the artist.
How will items for sell be priced?
-The artists will be in charge of making prices for their pieces. Pricing will be based on how many hours were put into making the piece, the cost of materials used, sizing (for clothing, prints, etc), and shipping costs.
What will the payment methods be for anyone who wants to purchase a piece?
-The primary payment method will be through the online banking site Paypal. This will be the easiest way to ensure that funds are handled properly and in a timely manner. However there will also be an option to use a form of credit for those who do not have a Paypal account.
How can people get in contact with the artists?
-There will be links to all artists email addresses for easy access. An artist may choose to give their phone number to a client for quicker response however it will not be required. There will also be links to view the artists portfolio so everyone can see other work they have done.
