Suramuni strode through the God's Haven without a care in the world. However, he certainly had a thought in his head. He had several, a hundred, a thousand, a hundred thousand or more, swirling through his mind at a rate which should have been dizzying. To Muni, it was just the way things were. He was lost if he wasn't discussing or thinking about something. He preferred abstract thoughts, finding definitions for things that were undefinable. It should have been frustrating, but to him, it was exhilarating.
Unlike the times that he visited the mortals, Muni kept his normal pleasant visage and his wings were mantled slightly in a posture of contended peace. He was happy. Well, he was almost always happy, but he did long for someone to talk to. He'd had such a stirring conversation with a mortal lioness recently and he contemplated flying back to see if she was free to talk again. However, he really didn't want to bother her, especially if she was busy. Mortals always seemed so busy.
Finding a pleasant place to relax, Muni simply stopped and settled comfortably before searching his mind for a topic. Perhaps a conversationalist would happen upon him. If not, he always had himself.

Letting out a short breath, Kali couldn't believe that she had managed to get herself back here. She realized that as soon as she had left to go on an adventure in the land of the mortals, she had left a few things unraveled here. It felt like back-tracking, and she really didn't like the climate here as much, but it was home, so it wasn't all bad. Though, she really didn't know many of the others here. Things seemed to always be changing, and so many Gods came and went all the time, so there never seemed to be a good time to just meet anyone. And really, that sounded pretty nice.
As self-centered as she could be, Kali really didn't like having to spend a lot of time by herself. In the land of the mortals, there had been others around almost all the time, and she could terrorize them or fool around with them whenever she wanted. Gods, on the other hand...they didn't really take to being messed with. Leaning down, she sniffed at the cool ground, keeping her eyes up and alert. The wires that wrapped around her were so cold, and they seemed to scratch more today. To her, though, it was barely noticeable; she only really noticed when the blood from it started to drip onto her toes.
Changing the grip of the scythe in her mouth, she caught sight of another, with such a pale coat. Here, Kali stuck out a bit more with her dark coloring, but this one seemed to blend in a bit more. She didn't recognize them at all, but that didn't say anything. Taking in air from her nose, she let out a deep sigh, and started towards the other. |
