When a parent says "Well I own him/her" to validate their reasoning behind something.

You do not ******** own your child. You are responsible for your child. You have to make decisions for your child. But you do NOT own your child.

Pisses me the ******** off.

"My kids are imported."
"My kid came with a certificate of authenticity."
"Can I get a refund for my kid, he keeps leaking."

That's just stupid.

xxxxxYea, that bugs me too. So does when, in later life, your parents try to get you to do things for them because you "owe them" for raising you. I mean, it hasn't happened to me, but I know people who have suffered from this. Like, raising your kids is your job: if you wanted to get paid, ya shoulda kept to babysitting other people's kids.
