⨠ Courageous ⨠ He has a bit of a 'nothing can hurt me' kind of attitude so he'll rarely turn down a fight, or an adventure. One of these day's hell have a reality check, but right now he's young and foolish...
⨠ Easygoing ⨠ Satoshi is pretty laid back when it comes to studying and hanging out. When you're not afraid of anything it's difficult to be stressed out. He learned at a young age to relax, otherwise he never would have survived in a house with 7 siblings.
⨠ Levelheaded ⨠ Even though he likes to push the buttons of his siblings, he keeps himself in check when it comes to other people. He has a good mind about it and knows when to pick his fights... However, sometimes he'll ignore that inner voice if someone infuriates him.

⨠ Stingy ⨠ Just because he invited you to dinner doesn't mean he'll pay for you to eat. Having so many siblings you learn to keep what's yours to yourself. Sharing with 7 siblings usually left you nothing in the end.

Quirks:
⨠ Although he's a mononoke, and a fish, he doesn't know how to swim in his human form. If he ever finds himself in a situation where he needs to swim, he simply transforms. Though, who needs to swim when you can just walk under water? The gills help with the whole needing to breathe thing.
⨠ In the colder months he becomes less active. Who wants to go outside in the snow? Certainly not him.

Magic Theme/Abilities:
Magical Absorption. Much like a droplet of water rebounding from an impact, he will have the ability to absorb magical attacks cast upon him and use that power either offensively or defensively. He'll only be as powerful as the attack cast upon him. This is his strength. His weakness is physical attacks. Although he can absorb magic, he fails at hand to hand combat. Hopefully no one will coldcock him in the face; it's too pretty to break. (I'm not going for mimicry or reflection but more of the use of energy.)

Short Biography/background:
Born to a large family, he was often over looked when it came to matters of the magical kind. His seven siblings were all gifted in their chosen elements. But when it came to showing his stuff, Satoshi often came up empty handed. He couldn't conjure fire, manipulate water, cast illusions nor enchant the simplest of hearts. It wasn't until a sibling rivalry occurred that the family understood where his talent lied. His brother, in a fit of rage, threw a spell at Satoshi intent to shock him. While defending himself, Satoshi managed to not only fizzle the spell but returned it with vigor!

Unsure of how to train their son, his parents shipped him off to the academy where he could learn to hone his skills from the professionals, just as his siblings had. However, learning wasn't the only reason his parents shipped him off. Satoshi would often egg his siblings on, using that mouth of his to get in some trouble. Unable to take the constant bickering, his parents were more than relieved to send one head ache away to school... but they wouldn't tell Satoshi that.

Knowing what his strength is, Satoshi is ready to take on new challenges at school. He's not afraid of anyone as he assumes their magic is practically useless against him... well, at least the other witchlings. He's arrogant when it comes to his magic and believes he's above the other witchlings in his class. None of them can best him in a match! (Fffffft I'll iron this out more later. But you get the gist of it!)

Character Name: Florian Morray
Player Name: Trixsy
Race: Mononoke
Aspirations: Ideally he would like to open his own shop... a shop that was both a cafe and a place to purchase various charms and spells. Oh, and he also wants to find his one true love!
Personality: Florian is a hopeless romantic, but that doesn't make him an innocent, mushy flower of a boy. He thinks very highly of himself, though it doesn't help that said high opinion has been reinforced all his life. He gives the impression of being very proper, but once he's out of environments with officials he becomes quite playful. He's his most energetic outside, and when near water he just seems to be brimming with life and enthusiasm. He's also a bit spoiled and very used to getting what he wants. He prefers to stay outside whenever he can, and in fact if he can find a body of water he'll even sit at the bottom of it and sleep. He's able to breathe underwater and will either relax as a human or transform into a koi fish to laze about. Maybe someday the person of his dreams will sit beside that water and he can pop out and capture them... siigh.
Magic Theme/Abilities: Unsurprisingly Florian's magic is water based. He can manipulate the water within an object to control that object... for example say someone dropped a doll in a lake, Florian could focus on the water within the doll to "bring it to life" and make it swim back to solid ground, run to it's owner, and give her a wet hug. He totally hasn't done that as a pick up attempt... nope. In theory as he gains a better understanding of his magic and grows in strength he could even attempt manipulating a living creature... we are made mostly of water, after all. In addition he can create temporary shields with water, using it to absorb the force of a physical or magical attack... but he has to be near water or have water with him to accomplish this. He's been experimenting with creating weapons in the same way and has had limited success with a dagger and a bow and arrow... but he needs to build up his endurance to do it as the weapons and shield don't last long. If he needed to use them in a fight he would need to have his timing down perfectly, else all he'd manage to do would be to splash his enemy.
Short Biography/background: Florian is the only child of a very rich family. He was doted on by his mother who raised him on romantic stories where the charming prince saved his princess from evil, and they fell in love at first sight, and they lived happily ever after. Being taught that he was indeed that prince charming led to the boy performing random acts of valor to help the little girls, and even some other little boys around town and he soon had quite the fan club... but he never got "the feeling" that he was in love. It was troubling to him, since all the stories never mentioned that as a problem.
While his mother doted and spoiled Florian, his father was the one that encouraged his magic. He was a good learner, doing what his instructors asked, but none of them could seem to get that extra potential to come out. His mother didn't want to send Florian away to an academy because, honestly, she didn't want to lose her baby boy... but eventually Florian himself requested it. He needed a different atmosphere anyway, he wasn't going to find his true love here!
For someone with no hardships or trauma in his life, he can be quite naive and trusting. He's also developed quite a few talents to woo others. He's talented at music... primarily piano and violin, he knows quite a bit of poetry by heart, and he's even learned to bake fantastic meals for others. He enjoys making other people happy, hence his desire for a simple life with a simple shop... however, perhaps something will happen at the academy that will chance his low aspirations.

Character Name: Tomo Snijders

Aspirations: He wants to join the ranks of the Reapers, believing that slaying witch eaters and saving hearts will make him popular with the ladies.
Personality: Tomo is conceited. He carries himself with an air about him like he is the hottest and best damn thing to walk the lands. Girls should appreciate his looks and feel blessed when he gives him attention, or so he thinks. Despite his overly conceited nature, he is actually thoughtful. He pays attention to what others like and don't like. He very much loves to please the girls. Tomo could be considered a player. He never stays with one girl for too long and knows the sting of a slap from one well enough. This doesn't stop him from playing the field though. He considers slaps to be a form of affection, like he's so hot that he needs to be hit. Any girl that receives his attention will soon realize that other girls that catch his eye get equal treatment. He doesn't believe in treating one better than another.
Magic Theme/Abilities: Watery Illusions – He has a natural affinity to the element of water and likes to make illusions with the use of water.
Short Biography/background: Tomo was an only child, not by the choice of his parents though. They tried very hard to have more children but for some reason his mother would always lose them or they would be stillborn. On the night that Tomo was born, his mother went down to the lake not far from their little cottage in Clarus Arbor. During the whole pregnancy, she had felt drawn to the lake and would often sit at the edge with her lower half in the water. That is where she gave birth, in the shallows of the lake with her husband by her side. At first it was feared that he too was a stillborn but then his limbs started to move, flailing in the water as his crying disturbed the still air around.

Tomo is the miracle baby. Oddly enough, he was born as a mononoke. His mom believes that him being a koi mononoke makes sense since she was often in the water while holding him in her womb. He was extremely spoiled growing up as the only child. His parents were so happy to just have a child that lived that they gave him whatever he wanted. There was almost nothing he couldn't get if he wanted it. This is what led to his excessive pride in himself. All the praise and love from his parents just blew up his ego beyond belief.
