Jeeze-o-petes! Since the anniversary of Titanic sinking 100 years ago just passed, there have been a lot of shows and news coverages and articles about it. It's pretty hard if not impossible to have not stumbled across one. What shocks me about them isn't the articles or shows themselves, but the several people inevitably in the comments saying they had no idea Titanic actually existed. Really? Really? I fear for education systems the world over every time I read one of those comments. Have you guys come across this as well?

I saw it in IMAX 3D. It was expensive as all getout but still worth it. I specified IMAX 3D because supposedly it's different from RealD and such. I'm not sure how, that's just what I was told. I'm not a big fan of 3D but I knew James Cameron (the director) said he had put a lot of effort into making it 3D and I like his work so I went. I was pleasantly surprised it was worth it.

X3 i like postive reviews... i'm not a fan on 3D either... i saw Harry Potter in 3D and i felt like it as unnecessary, but i really have to see Titanic in 3D. i've loved that movie since i was younger. and i love Leonardo DiCaprio. (i've been watching all his movies lately). [

He has some good ones. I was in France and saw Shutter Island on a hotel t.v. I didn't understand a single word that the dub meant but I liked his acting. XD

It's very trippy. I won't give anything away, (and I can't give much away to begin with since I relied on context clues to even get what was going on) but I can say that.

Whoa. Hold on. The Titanic was REAL? HOLY s**t. Next you'll be telling me the Pearl Harbor actually happened. JK

Ya know, I used to hate Leo just because my sisters all wouldn't shut up about him, but after seeing him in Catch Me If You Can, Blood Diamond and Inception, I think he's a really good actor. I'm not gonna go see it in theaters though. For one thing HOLY CRAP long movie. Second of all, the sisteroomate just played it at home over the weekend; I didn't even watch it, but I STILL got my fill of it from hearing it over in the next room.

And SADLY, my sociopath ex spoiled the ending of Shutter Island for me, and I haven't yet seen it all the way through. Sad face...

I feel like a horrible person for laughing a bit at that first part. I hadn't thought of Pearl Harbor but that's an excellent point as well. I have no doubt there are people who thought that was just a movie as well.

I still have to see Blood Diamond. It's been out for years I know. DX

About it being long, the first thing every single member of the audience did when they left the theater was go to the restroom. Dead serious. XD

I can see how knowing the end of Shutter Island without seeing it can ruin it. I may not have understood much, but I at least got to see the whole thing. Although I was unaware of what the movie even was until someone traveling with me who spoke French told me at the very end. I haven't seen all of the Leo movies out there so I was unsure until then. I just knew it had him. XD

I was going to make a slightly broader joke about WWII, but I figured that it's really, REALLY unlikely that anyone doesn't think WWII REALLY happened. Though the way they depict it in Inglorious Bastards may be what some people think really happened -_-;

I loled at your bathroom comment xd

We were watching it until SOMEONE got bored...then we skipped to the end and I was like, "Oh...woulda been nice to see the build up to all of that =/"

Leo is one of those people I wouldn't mind doing a movie marathon weekend of. Him and Robert Downey Jr. And Tom Hanks.

Inglorious Bastards that's another movie on my bucket list.

All three of those actors are truly epic. If they made a movie containing all three of them it would be amazing.

Of course Titanic and Pearl Harbor are real events, they're in movies for God's sake!
Not only were those events real, but I know for a fact that Leonardo De Caprio drowned in Titanic and that Tom Hanks was also a Captain in WWII and a Private in Vietnam.

That amuses me greatly~

Is it funny that I was thinking of you the whole time that I was mentioning Pearl Harbor and WWII?

@Novii: Well, I wasn't there...I see no proof that anything sank ninja
