Calder followed Amrita, ears up as he heard a commotion and clatter of movement. Not ballroom dancing, but one he became familiar with hearing when back at War. -Sparring.
By the time he caught up with Amrita, she was already right in the middle of the fray, and where Calder had been expecting horsemen, there were hunters. "Where are these guys coming from? They're like cockroaches!" He huffed, but then again, he LIKED cockroaches. He hated hunters. It seemed no place was safe that the hunters couldn't come into, but why here and why now? It was like they were tailing them!
At the shout, he turned and saw Shehk laying barely there on the floor. Rushing over, he dropped down to her. "Oh Shehk. It's okay. It's okay. I'll...I'll..." He held out his hands and tried to give as much fear as he could to her.
Calder used First Aid on Shehk.

Looking beyond Fallow Mea could see a giant of a man striking at him again and again which only erupted her anger. She could not get to him but then SHE tried it again. Whoever these... she heard Fallow call them insects. That was about right. "HEY YOU, BUNHEAD!" She called out again, turning into a leap towards her. Such passionate anger was not something she was used to and she felt her body shake under such power.
Swiping at her she missed, which was apparent as she hit the ground but she turned, focusing on the bright-haired girl with a snarl. "Even if you take him down, you'll still have to deal with me!" She said with a guttural tone.

Her head really hurt, she had to confess, even as she laid there in a dull state of half-waking. She didn't really understand the whole 'waking up from sleep' feeling, but she imagined it would have been similar to what she was feeling right then.
She could hear chaos all around her and.... energy. Kind of. For her current state of being, energy wasn't exactly something she had a lot of. But even the smallest change - or in this case a rather good sized shift in FEAR - caused the pricolici to shift, making a small noise. Her ears swiveled towards the sound of Calder's voice, shifting her head to rest it in the Kelpie's lap, her tail thumping against the floor.
"Hey." she greeted tiredly, almost looking like an affectionate pet with her canine head on Calder's legs. "How long...was I out..?" she asked, the glow in her eyes flicking on and then back off again, half looking around at the chaos of students vs hunters all around her.

Robert wasn't feeling so good. And that dog just bit him, and he had enough of this bullshit.

Tybalt gave a low growl, ears folding back, as his hackles rose. No s**t he wasn't a ghoul! What was that even supposed to mean! Was he trying to imply something? Huh? Huh!? The black dog's fury grew further as the hunter stabbed at him and mocked him as though he were a simple beast. Apparently it was a trait all hunters seemed to share. His taunting worked however, and instead of attacking the female hunter a second time, the black dog turned on Dakota.
"You should know better to provoke your enemy!" He snarled, lunging for him and using his full weight and size of his body to knock the other off balance. He had gotten quicker over the years, but these humans were not easily disposed of. So before Dakota could shove him off, Tybalt snapped his jaws at him, aiming to tear into flesh and inflict as much damage as he could.

Underneath the sounds of strife, a soft hissing can be heard throughout the area as the vines shift and twist. Where blood drips down from wounds both slight and grave, the vines surge forward eagerly. Masses of green leaves unfurl and begin to shake and rustle, a gentle percussion to the accompany the battle.
Observing the odd plants, Clarice tries to edge away into a clear section of ground, and finds none. "Watch out for the plants, could be poisonous...could possibly be used to puppet!" She wasn't willing to put anything beyond Famine, not after the reports about Julie's...
Gritting her teeth at the thought, Clarice adjusted her position, Raeg's runes pulsing with light. A vine snapped out and tried to wrap around her wrist, and her careful consideration of the room all but evaporated, she was done holding back. "Make way!" They didn't have time to play with the little nightmares-in-training, this mission was about so much more than capturing a couple specimens on the off-chance they could be weaponized. This was about deciding the future.There was also the part about revenge. Clarice really liked that part.
The massive sword swung in a wide arc, smashing into any student who looked a bit too healthy for her trainees' own good. Blood continued to flow, with students and hunters alike finding vines wrapped them whenever they stay still for too long.
The OOC Students: If you have been attacked less than 6 times prior to this post, Clarice has hit you for 10 damage! This counts for those just entering during this round as well! Aymet gets double because that's what happens when you make yourself a huge target in an enclosed space! Clarice does not count as a 3-limit attacker for this round.
Everyone: The vines are crawling over those who received damage in the last round! They begin to impede your movements! Those with vines will need to use a -8 accuracy modifier instead of -6! They curl and grow with every move, slipping into your wounds! All rolled actions cause 2 auto damage! (Cym is unaffected by the vines and any of their status effects !) Targeting Clarice: You can totally target her, but for this battle she will be using AoE's that hit multiple opponents! This is a new round!

What the balls was this thing? IT HAD NO MOUTH.
leon was sure of it, it had no mouth. an anatomy anomaly.
Even as it began to chock and restrict his breathing, the tendrils that tried so hard to pin him down.
he still wanted to dissect the creature. "Sorry, even in my nightmares, you're still not pretty enough to feature in them." he tried to retort back.
and found the floor meeting his face. Oh all the brain trauma that a boxer would have was coming back. painful ringing and the wooziness that could only come from a concussion. Oh leon had it in spades, the fact that he had a swing and a miss at the beast still didn't even register yet.
HEY LEON, LEON! WAKE UP..... uh....... THINK OF PUDDING, COOKIES................................. A PROTEIN SHAKE!.

Amrita gave a smile to Calder for the help, in both healing Shehk and attacking the Hunter to bring her down. Good. One down, several more to---wait, who was that?!
Before she could fully react or dodge there was a sword slicing through her, cutting into undead flesh and reopening old wounds. Nnnngh...jack! It seemed that the moment she was injured the vines, which she hadn't noticed in the rush of battle, took notice of her. They shot out from the floor, curling around her feet and crawling up to poke and prod into her wounds. Thankfully she was still healthy enough to not feel the full extent of the digging vines, but it was more than enough to slow her movements.
She was about to attack the Hunter that had downed Shehk when something else caught her attention; a familiar voice in the distance, one that was terribly wounded. For a single moment she froze, the urge to run away at the forefront of her mind; that was the Hunter she had taken on once, so long ago. The one that she had taken over, and the one who had gotten away; no doubt he would remember her, and that could be very, very bad for her health.
...Or would it? He was wounded, very wounded. Perhaps...
Her target changed, pushing through the crowd and the vines to stand in front of Robert. She stood fearlessly in front of him, looking up at him with a grin that was somewhere between sweet and twisted.
"Hello again." She greeted sweetly, along with a healthy punch to his stomach, her hand bent just enough to smash against his lower ribs.

One of her tentacles hardened at the tip, and bent around over her head to stab at him - but it hit the hard floor instead, missing any of his soft flesh. This time.
