On www.twitch-tv.com they are streaming the 4th annual IGN Pro League Event. Right now only two games are being played: League of Legends and Starcraft 2. But between the 2, there are 200,000 people watching.

200,000 separate streams of this one event going - not even taking into account the people who are actually streaming this for a large number of people (like Barcraft) + the people in attendance at the actual event.

Do you think there are 200,000 people streaming spring training baseball games on the internet? Or 200,000 people streaming the NFL combine?

I'm not saying e-sports needs a primetime slot on NBC or anything, but I think it's kind of absurd that a channel like ESPN2 hasn't picked it up yet.
