WHAT IS CLUE?
Clue is a board game, video game, and movie. It's premise is that guests
have been invited to Mr. Body's house, and no one knows each other, or why
they have all come. Mr. Body is found dead in the middle of the dinner party,
and each of the guests has a motive to kill him. The dinner guests have to all
try to guess which of them killed Mr. Body, where he was killed, and what he
was killed with before the police arrive and arrest them all.
There are six characters: Mrs. White, Mr. Green, Proffessor Plum,
Miss Scarlet, Colonel Mustard and Mrs. Peacock.
Premise:
My idea for this clue contest, would actually mean that only six people
could enter it. Everyone gets one character and when it is decided who
will play each character, the contest will be closed off to only those six people.
The six contestants will each be PM'd four "cards" and when the contest
thread is open, the rules will be much clearer and everything will be set up
much more nicely.
How would you decide who enters?
I would not decide, actually. The members of BURN would get to bid on each
character in order to gain entry to the contest.
So the prize(s) would be?
The prize would actually be what the contestants contributed. There would
only be one prize, which would be the pool that everyone bid on their
characters, so depending on who bids and how much, the prize could differ
from 6k (1k minimum bid for each) to potentially over 100k depending again
on who bids and how much they bid.
How would one bid?
There would be a bidding thread opened if enough people are interested to go
through with this contest, and each character would be bid on one at a time
over the course of 6 days within that thread.
I would be keeping the thread up-to-date as much as humanly possible with
regards to how much a character went for, who is being bid on next and
when the bidding would start. I would also be providing information and
pictured of the character to perhaps entice people to pick them over others.
