 In this nameless world, there is a city. Flying dark brown hair framed the face of a young man running in the dark steely complex. A few beads of sweat swept across the man's face as he charged and zig zagged through the area. I think I've lost them. he thought as he took a moment to pause and catch his breath behind a wall. A floating city. A few floating cities, but really just one floating city...the others are just a myth. "He's over there!" The man froze and followed the sound of a voice only to spot a guard staring straight at him. Without another thought, he immediately began running away from the guard and turned the next corner he could see. "No, he turned left! After him!" No one knows much about it. We never know anything about them and when we ask, everyone gets silent because no one knows. The brown haired man inwardly cursed to himself as he turned another corner. It was another fine day to be on the run. And whatever was he running from? The authorities. Nowadays, with officers this corrupt, it wasn't hard for them to get away with things such as framing others. ...but they weren't too far off. His younger genius brother was part of the secret resistance, and a big part of resistance he was indeed. Thus, the six foot 20 year old found himself in a bit of a bind. Despite his excellent physical abilities, he was nearing his end in the chase. The grey eyed man panted as he skidded to a stop. He had taken a wrong turn and was now at the edge of the complex. Looking down, the man realized that the distance was quite large. The land below was a mass that seemed to give him the view of a planet from the lower atmosphere layers of the planet. Nevertheless, he didn't have many options. It is said that the floating city has superior technology, technology that we can only dream about. Only special people are there, and no one ever comes to visit from there. "Stay where you are!" The brown haired man glanced back. They had found him. He sighed. Anything was better than getting caught, and he was going to have to take his chances and have confidence in his physical abilities. "Stop!" one of the guards yelled as the man took a step toward the edge. Today... something came to visit from above... someone to be exact...

The city is the only structure of a metropolis in the air. The other structures in the sky are these, but they are not near the city.
There are six zones within the city. The center of city (Sector 001) is its own zone. There is also a famous undercity plaza. Almost everything in the Floating City is synthetic/artificial. There isn't that much green going on here. There's more green on the World Below. However, the trash is processed or dumped down into the World Below. The security levels in the sectors vary. The lab sector, Sector 003, run by the authorities has higher security. While many people work there, they usually live in another sector. Dr. Parr is one such example.
The technology in Floating City includes hovercrafts, flying versions of cars in addition to the usual technology available on present day Earth. However, these hovercrafts cannot fly as high as airplanes. There are designated routes marked by holographics images for the hovercrafts. ----------- File No. 003
File Name: World Below
Contents: The technology of the world below is more advanced than that of present day Earth. They have a few hovercrafts, but they are rarities, and are older versions than the ones in Floating City. The people are crowded in density in the big metropolises and few are scattered in the rural regions. Technology in the rural areas is not as advanced, and a few have even gone back to the days of the old refusing to use technology.
Recently, there have been cases of missing scientists, and the cases are under investigation. No connection has been made yet besides the fact that they are scientists.

Contents: There are many types of robots. They may be classified based on function such as soldier, repair, construction, support, musician, etc. Some may be attuned to deal with certain elements. For example, a fire robot will be attuned to dealing with very high temperatures and may be used to rescue people from fires or weld tools.
Most robots do not have AI. However Dr. Parr has experimented with AI. As a result, there are now a few with AI from Dr. Parr's research...or research people stole from him. The robots with AI are all humanoid types.
Robots are usually referred to by their serial number of just shortened version of it if it's too complicated. They don't really have human names, but sometimes people do randomly think of one for them because the serial number is too hard to remember.

Ironically, much of the authority's enforcement is done by robots (these robots obviously don't have AI). + Authority leader/leaders: These people know of the World Below, but think of the World Below as a lower level than even the poorest on Floating City. To him/her, the floating city is just a thing in the sky. He/she is just someone born and raised entirely in the World Below. + The Crazy Hermit: This person has disavowed technology. He/she just makes enough to live alone by farming and peddling his crops at markets or in the city. This person is eccentric, and people find him/her crazy. [History to be revealed later] + People who live in Word Below: These can be detectives working on the missing scientists cases or just people in general. Miscellaneous+ The Doctor's Assistant: This person could be on the doctor's side or against him or something else totally. Armand has had better days and less shaggier day. Now under house arrest, he's decided to shave less. The red of his hair appears more orange now. He is about five feet eight inches tall. Weapon:N/A Personality: It is hard to read Armand, and people say he's a train wreck prankster. Adjectives used to describe Armand include: "Courageous, Random, Mischievous, Lighthearted, Cheerful, Stubborn, Patient, Agreeable, Silly, Friendly, Humorous, Energetic, Clever, Eccentric.....Evil." Evil may be from Armand pranking someone far too much. He is also never being serious with a very long patience. He doesn't favor violence and would much rather see the good in people. History: There was once a scientist who headed the robotics unit. The scientist was a genius and was able to design and produce useful robots for use…though sometimes the robots did odd harmless things…such as pie people to start playing a funky tune when sensing certain triggers. However, the leaders of the nations were at a brink of war, and there came an ultimatum, ordering the scientist to create a robot with highly destructive capability. The scientist did not want to, but he was under pressure and did so. But the scientist had second thoughts and designed this robot to be different from the others. He discovered that the authorities were coming to get the robot earlier than expected, and he reacted after some thought. When the authorities arrived, there was no sign of the robot. He had allowed the robot to escape because this one was special…he had given it AI, so it could develop a conscience about using its weapon capabilities. Other: [Anything else? Weaknesses: Zane is physically weak and just fails when it comes to fighting..or sports...or anything that involves physical activity. The saying goes that he flails worse than a girl. There’s also a chance he’ll faint at the sight of someone getting stabbed because of the blood gushing out of the wound. (This includes getting stabbed himself.) Zane also does not want to lose his brother Kale. Zane's sense of direction is also lacking...
Appearance: Zane has brown hair and grey-brownish eyes. He is usually dressed pretty cleanly, although lab work can get messy. He will have a labcoat on. Zane is about five foot five inches, not the tallest in the bunch. He is never without his glasses, and he needs them to see. Despite the technology available, Zane has never had an operation on his eyes to get rid of his vision issues. Whether this is a matter of his skittishness, lack of money, or something else is something we will have to wonder.

Personality: Zane is a little skittish. He is also really curious to the point that he won't realize he's in danger while he is in pursuit of a knowledge quest. He is passionate about his work, and he does have a bad habit of using unsuspecting friends as guinea pigs. Despite all that, Zane is a rather kind guy who pretty much acts like a professor because of all his knowledge. This means he will lecture on and on and on if given the opportunity. In a way, Zane is more approachable than Kale...but he could be less approachable because of his professor-like habits.
History: Like Kale, Zane is from a rather typical middle-class family. Zane was pretty sheltered in that he buried himself in his studies and graduated early. He showed an interest in academics early and the trend has continued. He works in a university setting, but he joined the Resistance by chance. He haphazardly got lost and stumbled into a Resistance meeting. It took him a bit to realize he was actually in a Resistance meeting. You see...he had been so absorbed in his studies that he wasn't knowledgeable at all about the Resistance. He had only heard bits and pieces from the news articles and colleagues talking. Since he was sort of threatened by the Resistance and the only way to not get in trouble to be safe from the Resistance (haha) was to join the Resistance. So, he did, and he has been with them ever since. Of course, he's made use of them too in his research... as some members have found their hair turn different shades of color or ...even grow a mustache randomly...
Other: He saved his brother's life by making his brother a cyborg, and he probably secretly goes to oil his brother's joints while his brother is sleeping...

Appearance: Winry With red hair and matching red eyes, Winry appears to be a rather fiery person yet she maintains a calm demeanor. She stands at a height of five feet eight inches (suspiciously the same as Armand). Winry usually is dressed more formally, preferring to dress professionally rather than in work clothes. Her hair for the most part is kept down.
Weapon: A retractable sword, light saber style.
Personality: Winry is a serious woman sometimes with a flare for the dramatics. She's not the type of person who will be set back by major failures. In fact, sometimes it seems that she doesn't think she's part of it all, that she's a bystander although she's really a player.

Indeed as Meia could surmise, William DeScythe was with a lady when she had telepathically contacted him. While the grey eyed dragon had actually already sold the goods he had taken with him earlier, he felt no need to tell his little “sister”.

Meia’s soulbound partner smirked internally as his young human friend decided to succumb to her body’s physical hunger. He would seek her out after he was done with his female companion.
~You do that, sis. Can’t have your stomach being louder than the town crier,~ he jested telepathically back.
His current acquaintance was a busty blonde lady by the name of Myra: it was an appropriate name, in his opinion. It was by chance that they were both in the Skendran marketplace simultaneously (or was it?). At this moment, he was finishing up a soft sweet serenade for her ears. The nickname others had coined him, “Maestro”, was not a joke. Music came to him as naturally as it was to breathe, and he had no need of using his sound powers to influence his music due to his own innate skill.
Indeed, even as he planted a light kiss on the lady’s forehead, he hit the serenade’s finale and presented the lady with a rose, Myra’s face was already turning pink. ”I must take my leave now, dear Myra, but I shall leave you with this as a token of remembrance,” Will murmured lovingly with a warm smile as he placed a rose in Myra’s fingers.
”Oh, William…!” The lady was blushing madly. Were those her eyes tearing up? Perhaps, Will had played it a bit too far, and Myra was perhaps a bit too responsive. She reached up quickly, intending to cup her hands around the taller man’s face or shoulders so she could position herself for a kiss. Alas, the woman sometimes forgot her strength…
Bam! Knew there was a fifty percent chance of this happening. And so, the Maestro went flying like Team Rocket through the marketplace. The blonde man breezed pass his human companion as she walked. He smirked as his grey eyes twinkled mischievously and waved to Meia as if he was enjoying this free form of flight. ~I do believe I’ve gained a speed advantage on finding lunch, slowpoke.~
Certainly, for those who happened to know Will’s stature, this was rather unbecoming for an underworld crime boss. But clearly, these types of situations being questionably unbecoming had never stopped Will before.
