Well, I'm running a survey on two sites, this one, and a private game forum.
We all know that -some- boys (*stealth points a finger at her cousin*) go ga-ga over bikini-clad warriors and busty elves in ripped up jungle fashion, but are they the only culprits for 'Pretty Gaming'?
That's right, girls. You know what I'm talking about.
Hottie guys.
Drop-dead sexy hotties in gaming. The poll is, well, would you buy a game just for a sexy hero, even if the storyline, gameplay, or development was less than shining? Or even just buy it because you heard and saw that the hero or a side character was H-A-W-T? You don't have to state in your post, but please please vote truthfully. I need this data.

I wouldn't buy a game solely because the main character was hot, and I swing both ways.
A bad game is a bad game, regardless of what the characters look like, and vice versa.

Guilty. sweatdrop Its the main reason I got Devil May Cry. But I enjoyed the game so that was a plus. I heard good things about it so I didn't just buy it randomly.

How is Playboy Mansion, anyway? I wanted to get that after I heard a (male) friend of mine describing it... I haven't actually bought any games for the characters' looks, but that's because I can't afford to. sad

I don't recall ever buying a game solely because a character was hot... mosty because I tend to be rather asexual. XD I have, however, bought a game because I thought one of the characters looked really neat or interesting, but only because I want to know more about them. Dante does have really nice eyes though... @.@ (I don't own any of the Devil May Cry games, but I'm considering picking up 3 because it's supposed to be insanely hard. XD)

The only reason I buy video games is because I like it. Not cuz the main charater is "hot" or whatever. It's I find it enjoyable, I'll buy it, if I have the money.
