Because this is the internet, and that is how we do.

-shakes head-

I know a couple of friends who all are going to Vegas. They say there's so much to do that they almost feel like they only need 2-3 hours of sleep. Is that true?

Uhh.... For tourists, yeah. For locals, we just don't care that much unless we have others to do it all with. But yeah, for visitors there is a lot to do here.

Yes, yes they do. Even in the height of the recession, they kept making money.

Too bad it's in the desert. o.O

I heard hotels were cheaper too because the casinos subsidize tourists' traveling and accomodation fees.

Coastal is the way to go!

But California is earthquake/some other natural disasters that I can't remember prone. o.O

Beaches are good though.

I'd be fine with earthquakes. At least, in an earthquake, I'll die relatively quickly. But in a drought-ridden desert? I'm dying slowly over years.

Yeah, some inland places can get reaaaaaaally hot during the summer. I've got friends in NY who said it can be as high as 40 degrees Celsius...

It's like... how do you even breathe in that kind of heat? burning_eyes

104 F? That it? We hit 110 F here. Which is 43.33 C. And, while it may not seem like 6 degrees (or 3, whatever) is a big deal, you'd be wishing for that lower temp if you felt 110 F.

Oh yeah. D:

Some places in Asia get really hot too... I heard sometimes people even have to buy oxygen. o.O

I think in those places, they also have high elevation. High elevation, coupled with even mid-90's F can be quite bad.

Oh yeah... that's no good.

Some Canadian Mt. Everest climber died when she got to the top. Aiy... what can you do when your dream is to climb the highest mountain in the world?
