So I get to decide to either stick with my glasses or go with contacts.
$70 = glasses only $145 = glasses and contacts
But I'm kinda afraid of putting something in my eye. Plus, I fall asleep with my glasses on ALL the time. How will I be able to remember to take out my contacts?
Please help me with my decision. gonk

You seem to only have reasons for not using contacts.

From what I know people who use contacts don't like them because they bother their eyes and are a pain to put on or take off. My personal opinion stick with glasses but that's just me. Cheaper, too.
If you don't have contacts than you don't need to worry about taking them out. Everyone wins.

I have contacts and they work great for me. They have breathable contacts so people like you can fall asleep with them on and have no worries.

All righty, after crunching the numbers, I decided to wait until I have eye insurance before getting contacts.
The contacts that the eye doctor would make me get for my first pair starts at $34.99 every month! And that would be for at least 2 years. gonk
And, I'd rather have my job pay for it. (Optical insurance is in the talks for hourly employee benefits.)

Stay away from Acuvue Advance lenses with Hydraclear. *shakes fist* Not only are they dirt magnets, but it's rare for them to make it to day ten with their "enables particles and other things to come off" property still in tact. Curse the trial period being only a week long, I DIDN'T KNOW.... I DID NOT KNOW!!! D:
With that said, don't get too tweaked about contacts. They're really nice when they're cleanable! : D Bein' able to look around everywhere with no blurry spots like your eyesight isn't terribad is ultra fabulous like you're seeing the world through the eyes of a previous you who didn't need corrected vision.
*ramble ramble*

surprised Thank god my vision is still fairly good. I only need glasses for distances over 30 ft away. I can still see, everything is just blurry around the edges. Just don't ask me to read a sign at a distance. I wouldn't need glasses if it weren't for the laws of my state forcing me to get my eyes properly examined before getting my temps.
