Ok I've been getting these strong urges to buy and play FF XI. However, I saw that the only way to pay to play is by credit card or by debit cards which are not availible to me. I was wondering, is Square going to allow more payment options in the future like a Pre Paid Gamecard like in World fo Warcraft? crying

im not too sure on what other options there is for payment but you could probably try contacting them on it, i pay with my banks debit/credit card. xp

There is a link to the main page for FFXI on the main forums page.
An techically WoW was cheaper. WoW allows you to create 8 characters on whatever server and how many servers you want. FFXI on the other hand (not to disway you or anything), you get the initial 12.95 a month for 1 character. If you want another you have to buy another content ID to make a mule or one to try what its like as a different race or to visit a friend on another server. Which ends up adding additional dollar to your bill. If you are like me who has five content ID's thats like at least 16.95 or so a month....and doesnt offer payment plans like wow does. i kinda like paying for 6 months and kinda forgetting about it. sweatdrop
