Scouting Advertising Contest
We now have an ad contest where you can win awesome prizes such as soqs, gold and letters. surprised
There is a referral contest for referring a talented artist to the shop. The Feb ad contest is over.
exclaim update 3/2 ~ Winners for Feb ad contest is on page 86. Thanks for participating. It is unknown if there will be another ad contest at this time. I would like to see how the marketing results of the Feb's play out.
exclaim update 2/26 ~The Feb Ad Contest ends 2/29 at 11:59 pm CST so make sure you get in your tickets before then. The referral contest will still go on. The drawing will take place Friday, March 2nd at 7pm CST to give plenty of time in case you have pending tickets due to people not linking our banner. exclaim update 1/26 If the thread owner wants us to put the banner up first in the Scouting thread then still go ahead and post their banner code. I will put in our affiliates when possible. You will get a PENDING by the ticket earned. Once the shop owner had put up our banner in their thread, then please PM Sirenz and the pending will be removed. At the end of the raffle, if you still have PENDING by your ticket then you will lose that ticket.

Referral Contest
On the forms in the applicant thread, there is a place to list a referral! For every applicant that gets hired that you referred, you will get a free semi-custom soquili done by that colorist or another staff member if they were a familiar colorist. An alternative prize is 500k pure gold if you wish.
Rules
1. You may not spam the poor person with requests to apply. Only send 1 kind PM asking if they'd like to apply and to say you referred them. You can also make your own banner that tells people to refer you as alternative. This can be placed in your sig or in other threads in the Mini shops subforums only. You can use it in the February Ad Contest too.
2. DO NOT hound people in whatever thread they are in to yap at them to enter either.
3. Do not openly advertise in threads. Keep all advertisements in your sig. I don't want any trouble from angry thread owners.
4. You can refer yourself if you'd like.

February Ad Contest OVER!!
The February Ad contest starts today and ends February 29th at 11:59 pm CST.
It is simple: All you do is put the banner in your sig and post in this thread for every day you have that banner in your sig. You may not make up any days that you couldn't be online. Every post gets you 1 ticket.
Want more tickets? You also get a ticket for every thread in the mini shops subforum that you have affiliated with. Post the code of the thread owner's banner once they have affiliated with the Scouting Thread banner and it will be listed in the Scouting Thread affiliates section.
HOW TO AFFILIATE
Post the Scouting Thread banner code once in the potential affiliate's thread. Then, once the thread owner has displayed the Scouting Thread banner in their affiliates section, post in this thread a clickable link to their thread AND their banner code. Only affiliate with threads in the Mini Shops subforum!
RAFFLE and PRIZES
A raffle will then be conducted on March 2nd at 7 pm CST among all of the people who had been entering the contest.
First prize is a free custom soquili or an alternative prize of 1 million gold.
Second prize is free semi-custom or 500k.
Third prize is random colored soq or 250k.
-maybe more prizes if there are lots of entrants-
Rules
1. You can't team up with anyone.
2. The banner must be visible in your sig with a url that links the visitor to the Soquili scouting thread. Use tinyurl.com for long links.
3. You may make your own banner for your sig if you don't like any of the provided ones. The banner you make must be at least 100 pixels wide and 50 pixels high to count. It must say something like "Soquili is now hiring colorists. Apply now!" or "Soquili is now hiring artists!"
4. Try to post once every 24 hour period
5. When you post, the banner must be there. I will not tell you when I list the raffle entrants so if the banner is not there then you will not be counted.
6. Only affiliate with threads that are accepting affiliates. Do not bug anyone to affiliate.
7. Post the Scouting Thread banner code once in the potential affiliate's thread. Then, once the thread owner has displayed the Scouting Thread banner in their affiliates section, post in this thread a clickable link to their thread and their banner code
8. The banner that you affiliate in someone's thread must be large and attention-getting (at least 300 pixels width and 75 pixels high). If they require a particular banner size then please PM Soquili for us to size one of our banners or feel free to create it yourself.
Sig banners - must be 100 pixels wide and 50 pixels high at least. DO NOT use sig banners to affiliate please.
